Ever since I've been on this site, I've always wonder why there isn't a third-person shooter option in the genre options? There are plenty of games that fit that category like Army of Two, Max Payne, Vanquish, etc. If it's possible to add it to the genre option, could you please?

I second this, whenever I edit to put in a genre for a third-person shooter, putting "action" feels way too broad most of the time. I've also seen entries using the "shoot-em-up" genre in place of third-person shooter, which doesn't make sense but I can't entirely blame them for picking it if they didn't know any better. There's already an option for first-person shooter, it would only make sense to add third-person shooter as well IMO.

The genre selections are woefully lacking in a lot of areas. Besides just 'Action' there should be 'Action-Adventure' and 'Action-RPG'. An option for 'Digital Board Game' would be nice instead of dumping all of those under 'Party' games.
Let's see what else...'Strategy-RPG', 'Pinball', and 'Casino' would be good additions. I wouldn't mind having 'Accessory' and 'Interactive Figure/Card' listed as well.

Nice! This is a step in the right direction for sure. ;D
Silverbow had compiled a list not too long that probably bears a need to be copy/pasta here. It was a lot more in depth than the few suggestions I mentioned. I don't think we need minutiae choices like Gamefaqs has but there's plenty of detail-oriented members here who could really flesh this out. Hopefully they chime in. ;)
