Campbell's (soups, sauces, and canned meals)
Pepperidge Farm (breads, crackers, cookies, desserts)
Pace Foods (salsas and picante sauce)
Swanson (broth, TV dinners and frozen meals, canned chicken)
Prego (pasta sauces)
Snyder's-Lance (crackers/cookies, pretzels, Kettle potato chips)
Thank you.

Funny enough, I just ate a bag of Snyder's pretzels and now I'm beginning to dread why you are asking. Other than that I really don't eat any of the other brands. Pace picante sauce is disgusting. My wife is Hispanic, so if we have salsa it's homemade.

Out of all you listed, Prego is the only one we consume

All of those brands are pretty popular here. Pepperidge Farm garlic bread I've purchased a lot of.

I was considering owning a little of the stock (Campbell Soup Co that owns all these brands) for the 3% dividend yield but wasn’t sure what the perception of the brand was. Wasn’t sure if it were a brand for old people or something.

Campbell's: No.
Pepperidge Farm: I'm aware of them, but I've never had any of their products.
Pace Foods: Never heard of them until now.
Swanson: Resounding no.
Prego: I prefer Ragú,
Snyder's-Lance: Nope. Never heard of them.

I actually live pretty close to the Snyder's headquarters and a bunch of cambells soup factories. I am aware of all the other ones minus pace.
-
I've bought them all before , but none are my regular brands . I used to buy Snyder's jalapeno pretzel pieces a lot , they're the bomb .
-
The only one we use regularly in our household is Prego Traditional pasta sauce.
Back when I was growing up in the 80’s, Campbell’s was our preferred soup and we loved Pepperidge Farm cookies, mainly Milano and Chessmen. Nowadays I prefer Progresso soup because it’s easier to prepare, and Pepperidge Farm cookies are too expensive to buy regularly.

Im sure Ive had pasta with prego sauce before, But I cant confidently say yes to anything else here.

Okay good. I was worried you were going to tell me there was a massive recall due to someone falling into the machinery or something. At some point or another I have consumed all of these brands and the only one I can remember I did not like was Pace Picante Sauce, specifically.

The last time I had Cambell Soup it was gross because the meat in the soup, something was just wrong about it and it felt like I was eating a baby, not that I ever have or ever will. But I don't trust Cambell Soup
nor will I ever buy it again I do know that some people do eat human beings.
(edit) this may seem like a joke but I was being serious, there is a lot of evil twisted people in this world

So...are you actully insinuating that Campbell's is putting babies in their soup/supporting cannibalism simply because you had some funky meat in their soup once? You really are on another level.

Obligatory quoting for posterity and what an odd turn.
"This meat has an unusual taste about it! It's buttery like wagyu but has the color and texture of chicken. I wonder if it's the succulent flesh of human babies?!?" :o
I mean I can't ever recall a time where the first thing I thought of when tasting something funky was to compare it to the taste of a baby. How does one arrive at that train of thought? :P
-
oldgamerz is low key the most disturbed human being on the planet
You never really know somebody ya know?
That is, until they tell you they can taste babies!
-
Human flesh—or "meat" for the sake of the conversation—tastes either like pork or veal (https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/human-flesh-looks-beef-taste-more-elusive-180949562/); however, since the main point of contention are babies, it'd be safe to assume that they would most likely taste like veal.
Don't take my word for it, though; I don't like babies, so I obviously wouldn't know.
-
They say that baby has less fat content than you might think, but we tend to eat more of it.
-
Well well, what a bunch of bleeding heart vegans we have here. I guess that just means more baby veal for me then!
-
Not from USA but used to eat a lot of soups from Campbell's when I was a kiddo, they were delicious as hell, tried two years ago to give my little son one of them without any luck, the taste is awful, dunno what happened but I do love to eat my spaguetti with the Prego sauce, in my country it seems that they don't know how to properly make them.
-
Just recently tried Pepperidge Farm's Chesapeake dark chocolate pecan cookies, and they were quite good.

Canned soup sucks anyway. Most canned food sucks, actually.
-
Decided against buying the company BTW, appears to be a company in decline and one of yester-year.

Would love to agree but there are a couple of canned food in my country that actually taste pretty good ;D
