Microsoft Xbox 360 S 250GB Hard Drive Model 1451 question

I want to purchase a Xbox 360 S 250GB Hard Drive Model 1451 but I own a Xbox 360 Core Edition which don't have to say that it's one of the oldest models, currently have a 120 HD which is running out of space, can somebody please let me know if this 250 HB will suit or can be compatible with my old fella, as far as I understand the model S refers to the Slim version so that's why I have my doubts about it, thanks in advance

The later model HDD are not compatible with the early models, but you can buy a transfer cable to move data between them.

Thay do have a 250gb hard drive for that system it looks gust like your 125gb hard drive it's not the same hard drive as the slim though.

Thanks for your answers and sorry for the delay, asked the seller the same question and he really took his time to explain me that the drive will not work with my console, indeed a good seller cause any other would told me that it will work just to do a sale, guess am gonna aim for a 250 just like the one that am currently using:

Sorry I could't help you with your Xbox360 doafan , I do have an Xbox360 slim with a 500GB hard drive installed  but I never knew exactly if the same hard drive I have would work in your model machine

The Xbox360 I heard is a vary finicky about what harddrive you are allowed to use


for anyone else to know The Xbox360 needs a specific hard drive to work it needs a Microsoft model specific hard drive in order to work at all
