as far as resident evil 4 goes. the gamecube had superior grapics and it ran more smoothly compared to ps2 wich barely could run the game

furthermore the ps2 version had less enemies longer loading times   quite a downgraded port actually

the ps2 had some minor extra's it was not really the best way to play the game back in the day at least.

than again gamecube had twice the power of the ps2 after all so it's not that suprising. plus the data limit didnt matter since the cube used multiple discs for that game

I had a feeling this would be the case but since I never had a GameCube I was unable to compare each experience but thanks for the info!

Been hooked on PlayStation ever since the first one, originally I didn't want to trade my MegaDrive away for the PS1 but when I did it changed EVERYTHING!:

PS1 - Final Fantasy IX: Phenomenal adventure and features my favourite character from any game.

PS2 - Shadow of Memories/Destiny: First time experience and interactive narrative and what an amazing experience!

PS3 - NieR: Brilliantly dark Action-JRPG.Worth playing multiple times to expand the story and best OST of all time!

PS4 - Life Is Strange: Very compelling, I couldn't put it down from the get go and appreciated the lead character being an introvert.

PSP - Crisis Core: Taking great advantage of the source material and expanding on a timeline of Final Fantasy VII worth telling.

PSVita - Gravity Rush: Bursting with CHARM! Everything I hoped for even if I do prefer the PS4 version now.

I haven't played many games on each Playstation console but here goes:
PS1: Persona, Persona 2: Innocent Sin, Persona 2: Eternal Punishment or Final Fantasy 9
PS2: Persona 3 or SoulCalibur 3
PS3: Oblivion, Saints Row 2, or Trails of Cold Steel 1-2.

PS1 -   Crash team racing    (Crash team racing is one of the greatest kart racers of all time and also one of the most sentimental childhood games for me.  It was the first game I ever had for PS1.  And it was so addictive and fun.  I love the music,  the karts,  the power ups, and the bosses)

PS2 -   Impossible to pick,  but i'd have to choose Kingdom Hearts under duress lol.     KH is one of the best games ever made.  It's the perfect mixture of final fantasy and disney.   And a very fun pick up and play action filled adventure.

PS3 -   The Last of Us   (It's just one of the most enthralling stories ever.   Watching Ellie grow has been special.  And I love any game that develops character progression and bonds within the characters that grow like that. When the first game came out I was 15.  So in a sense I grew up with her.  Following almost the same age pattern.  Now as an adult,  Ellie is also an adult.  And it's kinda neat seeing her transformation into her new self.  I loved the trailer.  I loved the gameplay snippet.  I will literally buy a PS4 just for that game lol.   It comes out right before my birthday.  If the May 29th release is official.  So I have to say up for a ps4 pro,  and the collectors edition of the game.  I can't wait to play it.   TLOU story is just so deep and engaging)

PS4 -   The last of us 2   (It's not out yet, but it'll be my favorite.  Spiderman is my current number 1 spot.  It's an incredible game.  A lot of exploring.  Beautiful city.  But if i'm being honest.  I haven't loved much exclusives on either console side this gen.  Xbox wins my support off sheer love of the controller and UI).

PS5 -   Predicting games that might come out....  hmmmm....     BIOSHOCK 5.   It's so damn good it skips over 3 and 4.    ;D

PlayStation 1 was my first tv console birthday gift. I probably spent more time on the first 3 SONY PlayStation consoles than any other console. I love all the PlayStation consoles but I never tried the 4th PlayStation or anything later.

I think that the the SONY controllers are some of the best longest lasting gaming controllers ever built. with the Microsoft Xbox Controllers.

Some of my favorite PS1 games are, Mortal Kombat 4, Cool Boarders 2, WWF Warzone, and I am currently really into PlayStation 1 racing games now,

I like the Call Of Duty series and the Tiger Woods PGA Tour Series on PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 the best. :)
