Could this be a Demo/Prototype?

So I picked up a game that didn't look...um...normal tonight. I'm wondering if it could be a prototype. It has several characteristics that have me thinking it could be.

1) The "label"
2) There are random numbers written on the cart itself.
3) There are stickers on the inside of the case.

Could I have stumbled upon a gem or is this simply a game with a really curious history?

Potentially, though it could be a review copy, too. I'd check in with Assembler Games and/or Digital Press.

My guess is that it was just a rental copy but I could be wrong

I considered that it could be a random rental but the sticker on it is really on there. Plus, what random rental place has a sticker that just happens to say "Prehistoric Man" and happens to be just about the right size to fit on the cart? Granted, the game itself is called "Prehistorik Man", but if it is a demo of sorts (pretty sure it's not a proto as the board has the correct product ID), they could have sent it out before they dropped the C and added the K.

Also, I don't know what's up with the stickers on the inside of the cart. I've opened several SNES games in the past and never seen one inside the case.

That looks pretty awesome. Have you fired it up yet?
