My personal ranking of the Final Fantasy games I’ve played enough to judge. There’s a pretty wide gap between the good ones and the mediocre ones: 1. FF VI 2. FF X 3. FF VII 4. FF IX 5. FF XII 6. FF IV 7. FF VIII . . . 8. FF XIII 9. FF V 10. FF I I’ve only played (and finished) Dragon Quest I and VIII. DQ VIII is an excellent game, and I highly recommend it. I’m looking forward to playing DQ XI, which I’ve heard is just as good. |

I have played a lot of titles of both series, here my TOP. TOP 10 Final Fantasy (main serie): 1. FF 6 2. FF 7 3. FF 4 4. FF 9 5. FF 10 6. FF 5 7. FF 1 8. FF 12 9. FF 3 10. FF 8 Never played 15, I gave up on Final Fantasy after episode 13. TOP main Dragon Quest serie: 1. DQ 11 2. DQ 8 3. DQ 5 4. DQ 6 5. DQ 7 6. DQ 9 7. DQ 3 8. DQ 2 9. DQ 1 never played episode 4, and 10 a MMO Japan exclusive |
