I only went through the tutorial just to get a feel for the game. So far, it's fine. Nothing groundbreaking but nothing offensive. I'll try the game play portion of the demo to see how things go.

I played the original and really enjoyed it - I miss that late 90s/early aughts art style and music!

The only thing I noticed that it no longer showed the up close battle scenes during the battles but other than that it feels the same.

Don’t forget, for anyone who wants this in full, all regions of this game will have English on cart, so you don’t have to succumb to FOMO and go through LRG’s artificial scarcity. There will also be Japanese and Asian English retail editions.
