I don't get why AVGN on YouTube hated Jaws for the NES, since that game I think is kind of fun, for me, but I have not made it vary far in that game, but I know how to play that game. JAWS for the NES is a game made by LJN and it's a video game similar to Aquaventure on the Atari Flashback  consoles.

In JAWS the game for the NES/regular Nintendo, you basically level up your weapons by collecting things and then evetually defeat the Boss shark, although there is not much to do i this game it's a game I will go back to

I remember a couple of years ago attempting to play this game legit because why not and tbh, I had a good time.

As for good qualities, I usually look to the music. If you are crappy game but have good music then I can atleast acknowledge that. Example for me would be Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness. It was an unpolished mess but it had some of the best tracks in the series.

Ever find anything of merit in an otherwise mediocre game that surprised you?

Frequently. I own and like plenty of bad games, technically speaking. My interest games is more so focused on the intent, rather than the execution or production qualities. There's so many cool things I find in bad games, I wouldn't even know where to begin.

Friday the 13th on NES. They nailed the atmosphere, the concept in interesting, the music is kinda cool... the game-play is really confusing and flawed of course, but I like the game.

Unlimited Saga isn't fun to play, but I could listen to its soundtrack on a loop.

I already said Ace Combat 2 so this time I'll say Final Fantasy X-2 which has a great combat system despite everything else being rough by comparison

Eh, like someone already mentioned here I do try to always see the positive about what I play and then focus on if actually something is bad or just misguided.

I must also admit that I dont care about changing other people personal thoughts, if you think a game is bad, what can I do? Cry? Complain? At the end thats your own opinion, thought, why should I try to change it?

Also while I do think some games are okay or not bad, I couldnt certainly say they are too good either or dont have some cues flaws.

I also think is worth mention that I am easy with some games if they at least show me that someone in the development team tried to make the gameplay and game interesting.

For me a truly bad game is maybe just the worst of the worst, unplayable gameS like Star Gaizer, Cyber-dillo, Sonic 06.... (Sigh), The Way of the Warrior for 3D0

But like always you are open to disagree with me, I do not want to be the enemy of anyone and I do want the peace.
I always have problems learning English, but I still love to talk a lot; I also enjoy being kind to everyone for no reason; if people can hate for no reason, then I can love; after everything I have gone through, I found a little peace.
