They've said it's connected to the upcoming Dr. Strange movie, which will explain the different Spider-Men and returning villains showing up, and Strange will likely end up playing a part in it because of that, but it's definitely the third Spider-Man movie.

Unfortunately missed 2 that I wanted to see in theaters those being Nobody and Wrath of Man, But I'm going to try and go see The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard this weekend. Sadly my perfered theater chain seems to have been shut down their location near me for good as it's not even listed on their website anymore.
