Yeah, Undetected is really good; it services the "tactical espionage" part of its inspirator's tagline quite well. If you also like the original Metal Gear games, and if you haven't already, check out UnMetal; it's top-notch. To make it clear to everyone that Metal Gear was the inspiration for the game, the developers even made a fake ad parodying the "Gear Up." ad for Metal Gear for the NES. That alone tells you all you need to know about the game. It's a drolly coincidence that the names for both start with the same prefix, now that I think about it.

Don't forget about Great Adventure on 5 Islands; it might be a mobile game, but it wasn't bad at all. Plus, it would be nice to have a game that, for all intents and purposes, has since been "lost" and therefore is long forgotten or wasn't even known about in the West.
While I'm at it, I might as well mention Protodroid DeLTA, which began primarily as a Mega Man fan game that eventually became its very own thing, but it clearly pays homage to the series, particularly X and Legends; in fact, the developer is no stranger to the series given that he released a few fan projects based on them, both of which you can see here and here if interested. I haven't played it yet, but from all the footage I've seen, it looks good.
Also, I've no clue what's your preference toward fan-made games, but in regards to Mega Man Legends, there's one based around the third entry...or a recreation of what was shown before it was cancelled; it's called Mega Man Legends 3: The Prologue!. If you haven't checked it out already, it's in 8-bit, emulating the original NES games. To make things almost semi-official, the soundtrack was done by Makoto Tomozawa, which also received a limited physical release with original artwork by Hideki Ishikawa, both integral parts of the series. There's no landing page for the game, but here's the official preview video, and if you, or anybody else who's reading this, happens to be interested, a link to download the game can be found here. Just follow the prompts on each screen, and when you reach the last page, input "dash3" in the field when asked for the password (without the quotation marks, of course). It's a fun game.
Anyway, to keep the topic going, here's another one: Devil Spire. I fortuitously came upon it and had to share it, although it's from 2022, so I honestly have no clue how I didn't find it sooner—maybe you did?
Plastomorphosis was also released last month, too; it looks cool.
And last but not least, Slave Zero X, which is a prequel to Slave Zero that was released digitally last week; it's basically a PS1 title released nearly three decades later, and I'm all in for it. The people behind it are quite inattentive, though, given that I emailed them nearly two months ago regarding the physical release of the game, specifically the Calamity Edition, and I've yet to receive a reply from them, not even an automated one.
And that'd be it. Enjoy.

Here's another great looking new game, "Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom". A collectathon platformer, nice big open areas to explore as a windup taxi car, very wacky. Alongside the N64 vibes, I also get like Katamari Damacy vibes abit, looks like fun though.

Came across a fun game coming up, but it's called Fumes. Some people are equating it to something like Twisted Metal/Vigilante 8 because of the guns and cars, but after playing the demo, I got more "Smuggler's Run on PS2 with guns" lol You're a car with guns running around a very large open field of a map, the bounciest of physics, Mad Max aesthetics, guns never stopping, don't worry about ammo. Because of that, it almost gives like 3D "shooter" vibes, the sorta 1943 or Gradius styled games where it's just a lot of bullets and chaos. Great visuals too, a lot of options, I saw there was like a deep car skin customization, and one thing I'd like to see added is music customization. Let people put their own music with a custom jukebox in as I think the game needs some heavier tunes, like I need to be riding to Motorhead.

Bumping this up for anything that might be newer or folks have played recently.
I put an hour into Yellow Taxi Goes Vroom, l loved a lot of its design and humor, it's what I'm looking for in a low poly throwback game, where it's got the classic ideas, but also has a new, modern, take, it's a very unique game. The downside was the car platforming gameplay. It's designed well, but very quickly my hands were aching and I think the gimmick of how you get around, getting height, launching yourself, it's not gameplay I found I liked a whole lot, it's very responsive, but I think I like more standard 3D platforming gameplay.
It's absolutely not a bad game, I wish I wanted to play it more, but it's sort of the same issue I had with Frogun abit ago, where it's really well done, I just don't love the main gimmick. Ended up getting a refund as otherwise I think it would end up being one of those games that I bought, played for a short bit and never went back to, such as I still have Corn Kidz 64 in my backlog after playing it a short bit and not getting back to it lol
Also played some of Atlyss, it's a third person action RPG in Early Access, not something I try to do get into, but sometimes a game just seems fun no matter what. I think this game is known more for its furry characters and exaggerated body types, but despite being able to make a THICK custom character, it's otherwise not anything lewd. Gameplay is pretty decent and responsive, you do quests, fight through dungeons, get loot, level up, get new skills, it's got a pretty decent aesthetic and gameplay loop, I put a couple hours into it, not sure how much content it exactly has, but think I'll wait for it to finish before putting more time into it again, but I enjoyed myself.

I really love this trend of low poly games, I absolutely adore the aesthetic! Some of the games I've enjoyed so far are Crow Country, Fear the Spotlight and Cavern of Dreams.
