Renamed digital releases

What would be the ideal way to deal with a digital release that gets its title changed?

Alien Hominid HD for Xbox One (360 backwards-compatible title) has just been renamed to Alien Hominid 360 on the Xbox store due to a recently announced new port that will now bear the Alien Hominid HD name.
Would it be appropiate to update the db entry with the new title and add notes about the change?

I believe for digital name changes like that you would use the newer one. When PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds got renamed to "PUBG: Battlegrounds" (name makes no sense, but I digress), I had all the database entries successfully changed to the new name. So, I imagine it would be the same here.
Edit: And the old name would go in the Alt-name field.

If a rename is done, put into description the date when it was changed. For Steam items it is easier to know because they have trackers, idk about other platforms.
