| Is it true that just 396 copies of Tony Hawk 3 were released on N64? |

I read this in the Guinness Book of Video Game Records 2008 and thought that sounded crazy. Yesterday, I stumbled across a copy of the game, CIB and naturally snatched it up. I'm curious if this is true or not and I'm wondering if anyone here has ever heard anything about this? I've sent Activision an email, but who knows if they'll be able to verify it if I even hear back from them. It seems too good to be true. According to rarityguide, it's not listed anywhere near a rare game. I don't see it on any rare game lists. There's quite a few copies on eBay. Prices for it are really low too, so if it were really this rare I'd think it would be selling for crazy prices online. |

I've never heard that before. I've seen the game a bunch out in the wild, but I've been waiting to pick up a CIB copy. I hope it is rare, but I don't think it is. |

If it is rare then this guy is extremely lucky : www.ebay.ca/itm/TONY-HAWK-PRO-SKATER-3-/380471326644?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item5895dbb7b4 |

My guess is that this was misrepresented in the Guinness Book. 396 copies sounds unbelievably low, unless production began on it and they stopped production right after it started. Regardless, it is cool knowing it was the last game released on the N64. |

I HIGHLY doubt that only 300+ cartridges of THPS 3 were released on the N64. The way that series multiplied I'd say that's a typo of some kind. |
