Yeah why were they even video taping that anyways?

An amazing find though!

I can't believe how horribly they were handling those boxes...  It made me cringe a little!

If only we'd hung onto our Atari 2600 collection, I think we had a good 100 or so games (just carts).  If I remember correctly, I think we even had Air Raid.  My dad bought most of them overseas and brought them back over to the States a few years later.  I think he ended up selling them in a garage sale at some point.   :-\

exactly being an atari 2600 collector I have many of those games but loose and the way they handle them hurt me a little because I would love to even have a few of the boxes they had >_>

The way it looked to me was that the boy (Im guessing he is the son) knew the game was there. Thats the cause of the video taping. While its cool that another one is going out to the community, it makes my heart hurt to think of how. I know my kids are going to get my collection in the future. The thought of them just going through it to see what they could sell makes me sad.

My son is 6 and he wouldn't handle my games with that kind of disregard. After I die my son and possibly my wife will go through all my games and probably sell most of them off but I am sure that they will have more respect and hopefully they will think fondly of the times that we shared with the games rather than just having dollar signs in their eyes.
