What Was The Last Movie/Anime You Watched?
burningdoom:
I went and saw The Hobbit today. Can't say I hated it, it was a good movie in it's own right. Any Tolkien or fantasy fans should go see it. Great production values and budget, and a lot of Middle-Earth lore packed into it.
But at the same time, I can't say that I loved it either. It was just too silly at times. It seemed as if the movie never took itself seriously, which really bothered me. I mean, this wasn't some low-budget production where that sort of thing belongs, nor was it supposed to be a comedy. A little humor here or there is a good thing, but it was just too much here.
I hope the sequel is little more serious, since it looks like it's gonna deal with Smaug.

I just watched Wayne's World for the first time yesterday, it was excellent!

I watched Hunger Games 2 days ago. I enjoyed it.
redblaze57:
last movie I watched was Batman Beyond Return of the Joker
last anime was JoJo's Bizarre Adventure which I highly recommend 100%. Can't wait to see if it's brought over to the US.

The Hobbit was the last movie I watched as well. I liked it. It felt like it belonged with the LotR trilogy. But it also felt different. More light-hearted, silly, etc. But I found this fitting with the book. The original trilogy movies were epic. But they were not able to explore the side stories (Tom Bombadil) as much as I'd like. The Hobbit seemed to be the filler of side stories.
