That said, it took me forever to get used to hearing my voice on TV - EQ'ed or not. I think part of it is you have a preconceived notion of what your voice *should* sound like which includes a boost of certain frequencies that are transferred through your jaw to your ear. When you hear yourself through some sort of a playback device it will be quite a bit more dull in those specific frequencies than what you're used to hearing. |
