I have a fz1 with a bad laser. Got a pic of the gear? I'll pull it off and send it your way if its intact.

Just fired up my my FZ-1 and long story short, I have the same problem with the worm wheel gear you mentioned. You still planning on casting and making some replacements? I, for one, would be extremely grateful.

I do. It's going to take a while though. The minimum expense I am looking at for the materials to do this is well over $100. Thanks to some rather boneheaded decisions recently I lack the funds to accomplish this goal. May take a couple of months at least.
I do plan to charge for them of course. I was thinking around $2.50 a piece.
