Selling at Flea Market
« on: August 18, 2013, 12:19:00 pm »
I have an opportunity to get a table at a local somewhat upscale flea market. There is currently no one else selling games at this somewhat small place.

I'm not looking at doing this to make money but more so to help expand my collection and to get rid of some of the extra inventory that I have accumulated.

Does any one have experience with this or any suggestions?

Don't use eBay as a -hard- price guide.

Sniff out the obvious resellers.

If someone tries to smacktalk you into lowering a price, kick them out.

I have been trying to decide how I want to price. I'm not too worried about a dollar here or there. I might pull out the games that are worth a significant amount more than others, but overall I will probably sell all NES games for instance at the same price or something.

Yeah, I want to avoid this. There is another flea market where a reseller works out of and he has retail prices on most things.

Definitely.

Thanks for the feedback!
