Who wants to Play Some Mario Kart Wii before it's gone forever!?

Hey everyone,

Since Mario Kart Wii online is being shutdown in a few months, I was thinking we should get some game time in.  Shit I've never even played the thing online.... but now that I know it's going away forever, I can't help but want to play it lol

So anyone want to get a game going?

I've never been a fan of online multiplayer so it won't matter to me when the servers gets shut down. Nothing beats having a warm body next to you when playing multiplayer imo.

Sounds good. I've never played it online either. Hell, my copy is still sealed.

I wouldn't mind playing some if we got some people together. I think Nintendo has a real network now with screen-names and such, do they not? I know I'm registered because I did so with my 3DS.

I found a lot of people outside the UK either don't know or just finding out about it. Such a shame Nintendo is pulling stunts like this, while Microsoft and Sony simply expanded and upgraded the existing network to keep everything running online. Will be missing you Mario Kart.

When I lived in Japan, I played Mario Kart pretty frequently online, but I don't think I've done it once since I've gotten back. Still a bit of a bummer, though. :/

i've heard of Xlink Kai... just logged in yesterday actually.... its funny.. for every console they had on their... there was only like 1 major game that everyone played.....

for PS2 there was about 50 playing socom 2 or 4..... on Xbox there was about 120 people playing Halo 2.... and then about 50 or so users playing Monster Hunter 3G on PSP.

man I'm really starting to think Xlink Kai needs it's own thread here... I mean this site is perfect for getting people together to play a bunch of old games lol..
