It's the episode where the "writer" kidnaps Ohana and then she starts to feel sorry for him I guess even though he's basically been perving on the underage girls in the inn to write some porn, and then in turn is shown to have just been scamming the inn for a month, and then they just sorta...forgive him and have him work at the place and to continue his porn writing.  I'm not really looking for realism here, but nothing about that shit was believable and now he's gonna be a regular character lol

I mean, the grandma slaps the shit out of the two girls the episode before for making minor mistakes, but then the Grandma is just like "It's cool you were perving on my grand daughter and her fellow young co-workers, come pay off your bill and win an award for your writing..." I'm not seeing consistency here.

lol It's what I planned to do as I see good story in here, that episode just through me for a loop and it surprised me because it felt like such a tonal shift for no good reason.

Have tried any of the other SoL? I would recommend to watch Usagi Drop & Gin no Saji (Season 1 & 2) first.

Not yet, I'm not jumping around a ton at the moment, but I have Usagi Drop on my queue along with some others.  I didn't have Gin No Saji (Silver Spoon) on my list, but I just added that so I'll check those out maybe after Hanasaku Iroha.

BTW I've seen on amazon there are placeholders for the original arc of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (Phantom Blood) and judging from the price it's going to be the 3 in 1 books bad news first one's not coming out until February.

Awesome! Thanks for the notice. :)
Currently playing: Persona 5 (PS4)

Watched the final episode of Kill La Kill, the just released OVA, and even in the end, it never stops being completely ridiculous and over the top.  Such a fun show and a nice way to properly send it off.

Kill La Kill is some real good fun. Super crazy lol

Started on Silver Spoon.  Seems goofy and they certainly don't try to pretty agricultural life up at all, but it might turn out to be entertaining.

And finished Hanasaku Iroha.  Gonna watch the movie a little later, but the series itself was pretty good.  Very sweet, and while a few parts got abit sketchy and Minko gets a bit frustrating with her erratic and angry emotions that tend to grate on you after awhile especially after she finally softens up abit, the last couple episodes leading up to the finale were incredibly well done.  All the right feels were felt and that's the best you can expect from a show like this, heh.

Man, Jojo is going off for 4 months.  How dare they be allowed to have breaks! lol I still get annoyed that they ridiculously censor any amount of gore.  It's done so poorly too with just big black circles skewing everything.  I'm pretty positive if you just drew something a little differently, you could show the violence, without showing the real nasty bits.  I'm curious.  Are the DVD's censored? Anyone know that?  I might be able to forgive them for that if they un-censor them for the collection.
