You can click "download" and stop the download shortly after it starts, and it will be registered to your account as "bought"! And for PS4, I just went on https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com , found the game, added it to my cart, checked out, and it seems like it worked even though I don't have a PS4!

Definitely, then when you pick one up you have a starter library.

I own Mirror's Edge (as everyone should ) and don't care anything about racing games on a portable, but PvZ was a really nice freebie. I didn't have enough of an interest to buy it, but I was curious enough that I'll gladly play it some for free.
