I decided to omit a few slots mostly due to not feeling that strongly about the available options I had to choose from—at least, not enough to deem them as a favorite of mine. If anything, this lists makes me realize just how many games that are on my backlog which may be more deserving of a placement. Nevertheless, I have trouble declaring a definitive favorite about things in general, so that made this exercise somewhat difficult too.

Out of curiosity, did your selections change because you've played your current choices for the first time since 2015 and find them better than your previous ones, or is it that your tastes matured?
