Fallout 4

Finally experienced The Mechanist and while it is a short mission, getting a robot is pretty cool.  Haven't gone crazy with it, but I've been building up Ada with some higher end assaultron parts and shouldn't be too much longer that I can can get the higher end sentry arms and gatling guns on her lol Keeps her mobile, but wielding serious firepower.  Might even keep her around as my partner from now on as she seems super useful, even if she is abit on the bland side personality wise compared to say Piper or Nick.

Up to the the courser fight in the story at the moment as I hurry to get the story done with a Brotherhood run before the expansion releases this Thursday.

I got my Brotherhood run done (Man, they look cool and Liberty Prime is awesome, but what dicks lol) and just in time as Far Harbor is releasing tonight at midnight (Eastern time).  Really hoping for something cool with this.  Might play a few more hours today before it goes live to get myself leveled to 40.

Played for a few hours and the new setting is pretty cool, I like the idea of it, but it seems smaller than I expected.  It's possibly a quarter the size of the original Fallout 4 map, maybe less, but I think it's certainly less populated. Still got a good bit to do and one location I found that I thought was gonna be cooler, turned out abit weak, though I won't spoil it.

I just remembered this, but the new location reminds me abit of Point Lookout back in Fallout 3 abit. Has that same sort atmosphere I feel.

I beat Far Harbor and while I felt like it dropped the ball on a few missions and how it felt abit emptier than I would've liked, it was generally pretty good.

Not sure if I did, where is it located at exactly? I didn't do everything there yet, and apparently there's some super boss to fight that I didn't come across either.

That's a nice pile of resources for sure.  I'll have to pop back into Far Harbor here soon to finish up a few of the things I missed.

With the release of mods on X1 and the impending release of mods on PS4, I feel the need to remind folks, if you use mods on a save file, any future progress on that save file will not earn achievements or trophies.

Speaking of mods, I took these two pictures using one of the new environment mods that is in a beta state right now.  It's frankly amazing.  It makes me feel like I'm playing STALKER or The Last of Us and it is an insane overhaul.  With trees and shrubbery, you can actually get jumped and surprised by things since you can't just see out over the barren land.  It's even more realistic in that this is likely what the world would really look like after 200 years, even with radiation around as seen by Chernobyl.
