But aside from some really, really bad aliasing, I thought the game was fun for a play through. --- End quote --- I haven't put much stock in reviews for a long while, so I'm looking forward to it. God Hand had terrible reviews as well, and it was a blast! |

I can't believe no one pointed out the obvious: The Shinobi series. Starting on Sega Master System, and on multiple systems up to today. My two personal favorites in the series are Shinobi Legions, which is on Saturn. It's a 2D action-platformer. It has Mortal Kombat-esque digitized graphics, and oh-so-awesome live-action ninja cutscenes in-between levels. And my other favorite is Shinobi on PS2. It has super-smooth controls, and is a 3D hack-n-slash. |

May not be the games you want... But I like Izuna legend of the unenployed ninja and Izuna 2 for the DS, I think they take place in feudal japan. Also, the Goemon games. Legend of the mystical ninja (SNES), Goemon's Great adventure and Mystical Ninja starring Gonbare Goemon (N64) |
