I don't know, I live in Texas, other people's several states away might be my drive from one city to another.

Haha, very true. I'm pretty spoiled in my part of California - takes about 20 minutes to get to any particular city around here if there's not crazy traffic.  Other parts of California can be bad. I know in LA, just getting to another part of LA takes an hour -___-

But yeah, the bf and I had a long distance relationship for the first part of our relationship. He was up in the high altitude of Colorado.

A new kickstarter by a bunch of people from Level Up Labs. I can't say for certain, but I believe Level Up Labs is like a publisher, that provides a fairly shared office in Louisiana for a bunch of different indie studios, studios that brought/will bring you, Road Redemption, Tadpole Treble, Nefarious, and Cyberpunk Casanova.

SQUUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

FEAR EFFECT SEDNA

EDIT: Sounds like it's nothing like the old fear effect games.  But maybe renewed interest could spark Inferno finally being released.  The game takes place several years after Fear Effect 3, so maybe they will make Fear Effect 3 if this is successful enough?

Here's a new Kickstarter for a game called Use Your Words.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/559253918/use-your-words

This game is co-created by Brentalfloss, the popular YouTuber who adds lyrics to video game music, and Smiling Buddha Games, a company I've never heard of before.

It's a party game that's kind of like an expanded version of Fibbage, mixed with some elements from Cards Against Humanity. All players use their phones, tablets, etc, while the game is played on a laptop or TV. The basic idea is that the TV gives you something (like a sentence with a missing word, or a hashtag, or a photo, etc), and you have to fill something in on your device that'll be funny with the situation on TV. Players then vote for the funniest answer and that answer wins.

It's currently in development for PC and Wii U, with other systems included in the stretch goals, ranging from PS4 to Amazon TV. It looks like it could be quite fun if it's worked out a little more. I love Cards Against Humanity, and Fibbage looks like a lot of fun too (though I don't own it), so this could be good!

At $113 plus shipping, I think I'm out.  I think the only way I'd back it is if I did the retail pledge, which I know someone who runs a business selling these types of things, so maybe.

Yep, if anything, this will likely be in stores later, similar to what happened with Cards Against Humanity.  Retail boxes may be different from the regular KS consumer boxes, but they haven't outlined that too clearly just yet.
