Finally, I own something I've been drooling over for a long time, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. ;D ;D ;D ;D Only one more North American Fire Emblem release to go for the full set! :D

How much does it go for in your region?

I paid about €80 here in Europe. That's about $90.
Wow that's steep.

I've still got to get both the GBA titles which go for about €70 a piece at the very low end in my region.

Trying to get all the Fire Emblem titles is no easy task. I lucked out with Radiant Dawn; found three sealed copies in a Gamespot for €10 a piece a few years back, within 6 months, sealed copies were going for ten times that amount.

It was going for around $100 Canadian around the start of the new year, then the price jumped up a fair bit around the time Fire Emblem Fates released and our dollar has gotten worse since then too. I've seen complete copies from the US sell on eBay for $200 or more after shipping, "import fees", and the awful exchange rate. I paid much less than that though, since I managed to get one from another Canadian.

Home from the 2 days of the Midwest Gaming Classic, I got my 1st big lot find from a garage sale and a surprising find from a resell group.

First my other pick ups this week.

VITA
- Techika Tune
- Supremacy MMA Unrestricted (this game people are selling for over $100 for some reason, got it complete for $11)

Wii
Another game that people are selling on Ebay for $80+ so I track down a copy for $10.
- Maximum Racing: Sprint Cars

NDS
Found this at a goodwill for $3
- Wordmaster

GBA
The same goodwill got in a bunch of GBA games, nothing good but one I was missing. it was only $2.
- Herbie: Fully Loaded

I stopped at a used game store and he worked a deal with me.
GEN
- Ecco Jr. Box and manual

- Donkey Kong 2 (in great shape)

Then I stopped at another store and he gave me a huge package deal. $75 for all of this.

GEN
- A Sega Genesis 3 with adapter

FAM
Got this for cheap.
- Sachen Super 4 in 1

Now garage sales...

First a sale advertised Gamecube, I get there early and wait for them to open and of course a few resellers start showing up, when the time came the sale didn't open up and one of the people waiting knock of the door, a guy answers and was confused at first but his wife showed up and said she forgot. lol I ask about the Gamecube and she said someone showed up at her door the day before it already sold. (I hate people who do this) It was only a Gamecube system and no games so I'm to disappointed. She opens the sale and I find a Wii U box full of Nintendo toys. I ask a price and got everything for $6.

Next was a sale that had no games but when I asked he said he had something at his house, so I follow him to his house and he brings out 2 boxes, first one with Xbox games, I picked out 4 games for $5.
XB
- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
- Mortal Kombat Deception (CE)
- Midway Arcade Treasures 2
- MTV Celebrity Deathmatch
Then I look in the second box and see a Sega Genesis with the Sega CD and 32X with 32 games and a binder with CD games. All loose.
I ask about a Price for all of it and he first says $100 but I got him to take $80.
GEN
- FIFA International Soccer
- MLBPA Baseball
- Toughman Contest
- Jorden vs Bird

- Cliffhanger
- Eternal Champions
- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
- Slipheed
- Jurassic Park
- Tomcat Alley

Now from the Midwest Gaming Classic...
Day 1 - I didn't buy a whole lot the 1st day just because not many people wanted to make deals.

MVS
I picked up a couple MVS games, he wanted $80 a piece for these but I got him to except $60.
- Bang Bang Busters
- Ghostlop

SCD
Then I got a few cheap SCD games, I was in a MVS / SCD mood this year at the show. lol
- Slipheed (ya I know I picked a loose copy at the garage sale, but I wanted it complete)
- Iron Helix
- Battlecorps

And I got a box and manual for Haunted Halloween '85

On Day 2 I found more people willing to wheel and deal so I got even more.

MVS
I went back to the guy selling MVS carts and made a stack of games I was missing and all these carts would have been about $180. But he gave me a deal for all these for $105.
- Super Sidekicks
- Super Sidekicks 2
- King of Fighters 95
- King of Monsters 2
- Real Bout Fatal Fury Special
- The Last Blade

PS1
Found a PS1 game I was missing for only $6
- Command & Conquer

Ody2
My friend pointed this out and I had to ask about it. It was a game only released in South America and it works on a US system.
- Frogger

I had to support the homebrew game makers, Nintendo age had a booth and I bought some of the games they had.
There was one game my buddy and I wanted so bad, but he didn't have any at the show. We gave him our emails and we hope to get a copy soon. Here's what I did get.
NES
- Beerslinger
- The Incident (CIB)
- Swords and Runes (CIB)
- Armed for Battle (CIB)
GEN
- Blow Em Out (CIB)

And finally my big buy of the show.
A seller had 2 rare Sega CD games and the 1st day he wouldn't budge of the $150 each price. On day 2 they where still there and he made me a deal at $240 for both and I had to bite.
SCD
- Robo Aleste
- Lords of Thunder

My buddy was shopping for arcade cabinets and found an 80s arcade at a decent price and on our way home I was looking up on a resell site and looked up arcades thinking I'd find something for him, and I saw an Arcade for cheap and it was one of the 1st games I remember playing on the Atari 2600 and the guy was only asking $400. My buddy was spent and I was looked this arcade up and it sold for close to $1000. I contacted the seller and I went to go see it and It was in pretty good shape for it's age, no issues with the monitor and other then minor nicks and scratches it was in good shape. The only issue I could find was that it was LOUD. we could not figure out how to turn the volume down. I decided to jump down the rabbit hole and get it. After getting it home it took me several hours looking up on the internet figuring out how to turn the volume down. but I finally figured it out. lol It looks great in my four seasons room next to the Konami Arcade.
- Phoenix

"Happy game hunting!!!"

My wife and I decided to buy a sound bar yesterday because a Best Buy near us had a good one, in excellent condition as open-box for less than half the sale price.  Works pretty well too.

But in the process of driving to pick it up I stopped at several thrift stores and pawn shops.  Mostly nothing but trash, but I stopped in one and bought a few games and stopped at a Gamestop that magically had one of the cheap Wii games on my wishlist.

Evil Dead: Regeneration (Xbox)
Kinetica (PS2)
Armored Core 2: Another Age (PS2)
Suikoden Tactics (missing the game only, this was free, just need to find the game itself)

Trauma Center: New Blood (Wii)

I normally go to the food trucks outside of my office for lunch, but today the line was ridiculously long, like I'd probably still be standing out there.  So I went to go get some wings and while I waited for my food I went to a couple of pawn shops.  One shop had a couple of games I wanted, but I don't like when they just blanket state all games are $8, so I just left with nothing.  The other shop had a wii game I thought looked interesting marked as $2.  I couldn't recall if I completed my copy of Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Plus, but they had a loose disc, which is what I need to complete my copy, but they wanted $3 and it had like a sharpie mark on the disc inside of the plastic casing, not sure if it'll even play.  Guy rang up the Wii game for $1, so yay for that.

Broken Sword something something something Templar.(Wii)

How much did that set you back for a random find?

Nice find If I might say so myself as a pal collector. Pretty good game.

Thanks. I paid roughly $ 130. That's ok with me as it is still below what its current value is.

That's why I don't do the alphabetical thing. Just chuck it any place, mix everything up.

Put it next to StarTropics and put SuperC right next to Contra.  Those are a couple of exceptions to the rule.
