It was a lot of fun! Definitely made me wish it were 10 years ago and I'd decided to go video game making school instead of art school... Also reaffirms that I should consider changing my career field. Game development is probably not as pretty as it looks at the awards show, but it sounds more satisfying than what I'm doin' these days.
Plus, looking at all the nominees and winners for the IGF awards, I realized there are a lot of indie games I need to hunt down and play.

The S.O. helps do the AV and tech work for conferences and shows like this. As simple as borrowing a coworker's badge... :)
He said it should allow me access to almost anywhere at the conference but I was too afraid to go anywhere else but the awards ceremony.

Looks like a pretty sweet AV setup was used. Did they utilize any IMAG or were the side screens used strictly for prerecorded footage?
