In the 80s and early 90s, 3D graphics were tough to pull off for a lot of the consoles and arcade hardware of the time. So a lot of games used tricks to make it feel like it was 3D like scaling graphics, isometric graphics, or Mode-7 graphics. Games like Space Harrier, Landstalker, F-Zero, and Rad Racer used tricks like this. What were some of the best games to successfully pull this off and provide a great 3D experience, despite it not actually being 3D; in your opinion? |

Outrunners, Power Drift, Cool Riders, Jurassic Park Arcade, Night Striker, After Burner, Super Chase, GunBuster Galactic Storm also does it well, but has some framerate problems on some stages. |
