What are the best offline co-op games? Atari 2600 to present day. |

Wizard of Wor for the 2600 and Centipede for the 7800 are two of my favorite classic co-op games. |

Now that I think about it I haven't played too many actual co-op games: Pikmin 2, Ratchet Gladiator, Crash Bash, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Super Mario Galaxy. The only ones that I kind of enjoyed co-op. I find that I've had just as much, if not more fun with friends playing single-player games: Luigi's Mansion, Metal Gear Solid 3 and Vagrant Story to name a few. |

Really enjoy plenty of brawlers, beat em' ups but here are a few of my all-time favorite offline co-up games in no order - Bubble Bobble - The Simpsons: Arcade Game - Kirby Superstar - Captain Commando - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time - The Adventures of Cookie & Cream - Captain America and The Avengers - Dungeon Explorer - The Combatribes - X-Men (1992) |
