--- Quote from: madmax on September 08, 2016, 02:56:48 pm ---Mine would have to be Mario Bros. on NES. I would like to venture into older games eventually but not having grown up with them makes it difficult to play them. There is no nostalgia effect. --- End quote --- That's kind of how I feel about modern gaming - reversed. The joy I experienced with retro gaming of my youth can't be reproduced when I play modern consoles now as a middle aged adult. So in a different way I'm not "growing up" with current gen and previous gen console gaming so I've basically just stopped playing 6th-8th gen games and stick to second-fifth gen stuff. |

The games for the Magnavox Odyssey 1. The first game console ever made in 1972, can't get much older then this. lol ::) You have to put plastic sheets on the TV screen to get graphics. lol |

Still, that's pretty freaking awesome. Are you able to hook it up? I heard the connection it uses is so old and outdated, that you can't even play them anymore. |

I don't have any consoles older than NES because I'm a scrub. I had to Google it but my oldest game is the NES version of Donkey Kong, I think. Google says '83. |

I don't own any Atari 2600 stuff any more, so it's one of my Game & Watches. According to the release dates on Wikipedia, Donkey Kong is the oldest one I have. |
