TurboGrafx 16 or Sega Genesis?
<< < (7/7)
burningdoom:
While the TG-16 is great for shoot-em up fans, the Genesis is no slouch in that department, either. So the one big strength TG-16 really has, Genesis is pretty dang good at, too, in addition to all the other stuff already pointed out.
stlgamer75:
I prefer to collect for my TG-16 because of it's also-ran status. I'm thankful I acquired most of my collection before the TG-16 prices skyrocketed. That said, for actual playing games I prefer my Genesis/CD/32X Frankenstein monster because the library of games is obviously much larger and I can get very good Genesis games for about half of what I'd have to pay for a good TG-16 game. Sega CD games are starting to climb to ridiculous levels but Genesis titles generally are not thanks to their abundance.
jw1516:
Genesis by far. I can't remember playing anything on TG-16 other than Bonk back in the day.
wartoy:
Genesis for me!!!
mrnergles:
Game wise: Genesis; it has so many iconic and fun games. The number of games it has dwarfs the Turbo.

Hardware wise: Turbo all the way. I wish the library was larger then it would have actually stood a chance, rip.
