Nintendo DS duplicate consoles

What is this item? Platinum Silver, no TLD.
https://vgcollect.com/item/14497

Is it a dupe of this?
https://vgcollect.com/item/7885 (US Silver original release with Metroid demo)
or
https://vgcollect.com/item/113728 (JP Platinum Silver)

or is it possible to be another version? I do not recognize anyone who has it in collection at a quick glance. I am thinking to merge it with 7885. Does anyone else have any ideas?

There are some others in this hardware category with no TLD on it, want to make sure there are not other dupes. This category seems to be kept up pretty well.

The date matches the US release, so I'd say it's definitely not the JP model.

Was the platinum silver ever released separately from the Metroid bundle?

It's tough because there are European users with that item in there collections. With that said the release date has stated 2004 since the item was created in 2011. The Nintendo DS was only released in the EU in 2005. To me that's fair game to merge into 7885. Plus, to my knowledge, the only DS released on November 21, 2004 was the Metroid demo package.

Merge with 7885.

Europe received a silver platinum DS, but it was bundled with Mario Kart, but again, 2005.

There definitely was in Japan and Europe. I'm only partly convinced for NA as I haven't seen perfect evidence yet. If platinum was released without Hunters demo in NA it probably would have been in limited numbers.

I originally wanted to just do the merge, but that date on the entry was added by someone later on from when it was created.

-Six months after it was created in 2011.

WELP.

Either Merge with 7885 or alter to display the EU information.

Ok I have merged it with 7885 and put the picture for the loose system in cart art.

The rest of the category needs to be taken care of. I would do it but I am finding it difficult to find good information about Nintendo releases such as this or Game Boy or any of the other Nintendo console releases. Is there a good resource for this? It seems easier to get info on Sega releases, but it may be I just don't know where to look. Or if someone else can take up this project, it would be a help. I've already did the Game Gear hardware section and most of the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive section and it is a ton of work.
