I think these two gaming worlds can live together. Neither is going to kill another. Mobile gaming really hasn;t done any damage to console gaming, what it's really done is create an entire new audience. My mom plays Angry Birds and Words with Friends but would never consider buying an Xbox. It's a totally different market. If anything we are just going to see more XBLA, PSN, etc. games which isn't a bad thing.

This is true.  Obviously though the writer of that article didn't get the memo.
