In fact, you can spend most of the game with the second player if you make the right choices. 1. You'll be captured by goblins. The girl will free you from their base. 2. Meet the girl in Pandora's Castle. She'll agree to go with you as long as you continue to help her look for her boyfriend. 3. Instead of heading to Gaia's Navel, head to the Haunted Forest. You'll come to an obstacle that requires an ax. The girl will relinquish and suggest going to Gaia's Navel after all. This can be done within the first hour or so of game time. |

Sunset Riders for SNES/Genesis is a good one too. Expensive cart, but also available on PSN for download. As far as PS1 there are many but the ones that come to mind are FUTURE COP: LAPD & Gauntlet Legends. |
