Neo Geo Mini; which game you want on the system?
(1/5) > >>

The Neo Geo Mini was officially announced by SNK, but we won't know more about the 40 games included in the system, the price or release date until next month. Now, some said they had access to the list of games, here what was "leaked";

    The King of Fighters ’95
    The King of Fighters ’97
    The King of Fighters ’98
    The King of Fighters 2000
    The King of Fighters 2002
    Art of Fighting
    Fatal Fury Special
    Real Bout Fatal Fury
    Garou: Mark of the Wolves
    Samurai Shodown II
    Samurai Shodown IV
    Samurai Shodown V Special
    The Last Blade 2
    World Heroes Perfect
    Kizuna Encounter
    Metal Slug
    Metal Slug 2
    Metal Slug 3
    Metal Slug 4
    Metal Slug 5
    Metal Slug X
    King of Monsters
    King of Monsters 2
    Shock Troopers
    Shock Troopers 2nd Squad
    Sengoku 3
    Ninja Master’s
    Top Player’s Golf
    Super Sidekicks
    Blazing Star
    Puzzled
    Magician Lord
    Robo Army
    Crossed Swords
    Mutation Nation
    3 Count Bout
    Last Resort
    Ghost Pilots
    Football Frenzy

I'm looking at that list, and their is plenty of great choices and questionable choices... why not King of Fighters 96, a far superior game than episode 95. Or why the first Super Sidekick and not a improved version. What about Art of Fighting 3?

Here the games released on Neo Geo MVS/AES that I would love to see on the Neo Geo Mini that are not on the leaked list;
- Real Bout Fatal Fury 2
- The King of Fighters 96
- The King of Fighters 2003
- Magical Drop 3
- Art of Fighting 3
- Windjammer
- Sengoku 1 and 2
- Neo Turf Masters
- Waku Waku 7
- Matrimelee
- Neo Bomberman

Which games would you like to see on the Neo Geo Mini? Your thought about the new mini console.

I won't buy emulators, so I won't be getting this.
badATchaos:
I would want to see Aero Fighter, aka Sonic Wings.

My main issue with the Neo Geo is that most of its games are already available on other consoles in perfect or near perfect ports, which begs the question of why get a Neo Geo at all, even the mini? I had the chance recently to buy an AES for a decent price, but passed on it because getting only a couple games for it would likely cost me just as much as what I paid for the console. Not only that, but the best games for the console have already been ported so is there really a point beyond bragging rights?

I own a Neo Geo AES and CD, and I still prefer to play Neo Geo games on those consoles than a port. It feel more arcade authentic, no emulation bugs, slowdown or delay. And the Neo Geo arcade stick beat any controller when it's time to play SNK fighting games. But I get that the games are really to expensive. I bought mine 15 years ago while they were still at a relative decent price. These days you can still find good games for 50$ (Samurai Shodown 1 & 2, Fatal Fury Special, World heroes 2, Art of Fighting 2...).

One of my worry with the Neo Geo Mini is the quality of the emulation. Hopefully it is good has the NES and SNES mini.
