Here we go again, another week full of pick ups. Had some decent finds from garage sales and a rare CIB game I had to buy.
First the .... You know what, this time it's the garage sales first. lol
NDSStopped at a sale and saw 3 DS games on the table, the lady told me she had a ton more but someone bought them all.
But they left 2 I was missing for only .50c a piece.
- My Virtual Tutor
- Feel the Magic XY-XX
A sale advertised "Video Games" and I got there kinda late due to hitting other sales first. I see a stack of games and they where marked $1-$5 each. As I walked out holding a small stack a known A-hole of a reseller in my area shows up and gives me a look of death. lol
XBone- Halo 5 Gaurdians ($5)
- Star Wars Battlefront II ($5)
3DS- Hey Pikmin (sealed $1)
A sale advertised "several gaming consoles" so I had to check it out. I get there as early as I can and see them setting up. They had systems and games for Wii, PS3, PS2, PS1 and XB360. I make a little bundle then ask if she would take $40 for everything. She was happy to take it.
PS3- Sony PS3 Slim with 3 controllers, Move controller and charging dock, PS3 camera and a Turtle Beach headset (not shown)
- Sonic All-Star Racing
- Sonic Unleashed
- The Lego Movie Videogame
- Medieval Moves: Deadmund's Quest
- MX vs. ATV: Supercross
Wii- Mario Kart Wii
- New Super Mario Bros. Wii
PS1- Extreme Pinball
- Intellivision Gaming Classics
Next was a sale that I asked about games and she said she had some Wii, she brings out about 6 Wii games and I found two I needed.
Only $1 a piece. I ask about any other gaming stuff but she said try across the street.
Wii- Backyard NFL Football
- Medal of Honor: Vanguard
So I go across the street to another sale and see a box full of games. She tells me they are $1 each then I see a little bag and look inside and see a DS with a bunch of games. And she said $10 for it all. I am not complaining. lol
NDS- Nintendo DS Lite (Coral pink) with adapter
- Pinkalicious (CIB)
- The Cheetah Girls
- Monster High: Ghoul Spirit
- Imagine: Fashion Designer
- Style Fab Jewelry Design
- Paws & Claws Pampered Pets
- Nintendogs: Lab & Friends
GBA- Bratz Babyz
- Hello Kitty: Happy Party Pals
- Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team
Wii- The Bigs 2
- Super Mario All-Stars
WiiU- Watch Dogs
XB- Haunted Mansion
- Frogger Beyond
- Fuzion Frenzy
- Capcom Fighting Evolution
- Barbie: Horse Adventures
PS1- Oddworld Abe's Oddysee
GC- Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly
- Super Mario Sunshine
And last on Saturday I see an ad for a Super Nintendo at a garage sale, I get there early but still too late. Someone beat me to it. It only had one game (Super Mario All-Stars) I leave and hit another sale down the street and ask about video games, she tell me no, all she has is an old Nintendo I wouldn't be interested in. lol
I ask to see it and she brings out a box with the system and several games but the controllers and the AC adapter are for a Genesis.
I ask about the Genesis but she said no this was all she had. I tell her that the adapter and controllers don't go with the NES and she tells me I could have it all for $10. How can I saw no. lol Here's the games.
NES- Golf
- Bandai Golf
- Goal
- Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt
- Super Mario Bros. 3
- Tetris
Okay, now for the non garage sale pick ups this week.
First I picked up a second Galaxian Tiny Arcade because the other one I bought fell off my arcade cabinet and the dog got a hold of it messing up the box.
XB360Toys R Us is down to its last 2 days open and I go in and find one more game to buy at 80% off.
- King's Quest - Complete Edition
Next I was looking though rare games on Ebay and come across this...
CV- Kill Barney in Tokyo
The seller says it's a homebrew prototype that was never finished. He had a make an offer on it, so I made and offer and he took it.
I played it and it's basically a target on the screen and you have a time limit to kill as many Barney's as you can. It has no sound but still fun killing those Barney's lol
Last I stop at my local used game store and I look around and I see they got in some rare loose Sega Saturn games, Not badly priced but I had them and I don't like loose disc games. (Dragon Force & Shining the Holy Ark) was tempted on Dragon Force because it's a different disc art then mine. Then one of the employee's sees me and calls me over. He tells me they just got in a bunch of CIB nintendo games. He brings out about 20 games for the NES and SNES. Here's what I got.
NES- Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (grey cart)
- Metal Gear
SNES- Castlevania: Dracula X
Zelda was marked at $40, not to bad and I was missing the grey version, Metal gear was $7 I couldn't say no to that. lol
Dracula X was $200. At first I was going to pass thinking I had it loose, But then I thought I can sell the game alone for close to $200 and get my money back. So I bought it.
They also got in... Castlevania, Castlevania 2, Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden 3, Super Mario Bros. 3, TMNT2, Snakes Revenge, Super Tecmo Bowl, Zelda (gey cart), Zelda II (gold cart), Friday the 13th, Star Fox, Star Trek TNG, and a few others not worth mentioning.
