1. Sonic the Hedgehog - I know, not everyone's favorite entry. But it came with my Genesis, I played the hell out of it.

2. Sonic 3 + Knuckles - Possibly the greatest classic Sonic experience you can have, when played correctly. If you attach Sonic 3 to Knuckles then you get the full game as the creators originally envisioned, and it's magnificent.

3. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - Yeah, everyone's favorite is my 3rd favorite...sue me.

4. X-Men 2: The Clone Wars - The reason I finally broke-down and got a Genesis, when I was a SNES guy. Fantastic graphics and music, great controls, and comic accurate (for the time).

5. Golden Axe - Played the hell out of the arcade before ever getting the Genesis version. And while it takes some small graphical hits, it's damn close to the arcade version.

6. Maximum Carnage Starring Spider-Man & Venom - Love 90s Spider-Man comics, love Carnage & Venom particulary. And at this time, I was all about beat-em ups. This was one of the best of the era, and the subject matter just spoke to me. But hard.

7. Raiden Trad - Another one I played the hell out of in the arcade. My favorite classic shoot-em up series. And this was the best home version, at the time.

8. Vectorman - Just plain fun. People say it's a Mega Man rip-off, and I'd be blind not to see some of the similarities. But it plays very different.

9. The Punisher - Another arcade favorite that we had at our local 7-11. This is the only home version of this game in existance. Great beat-em up with destructible items and lots of weapons.

10. Comix Zone - Fantastic concept for a game, being able to beat your way through comic pages. And great graphics and music. It would be higher on my list if it wasn't so damn hard. I mean, there's areas where you HAVE TO beat up an object to proceed, but beating up an object drains your health...WTF?!
