Michigan Pinball Expo!

scott:
They said they had 125+ machines there, but a bunch were set up for tournament play. They also had some vendors set up with parts and pieces. One vendor was even showing off a custom made machine that was playable, but I forgot to take a picture of it.
jobocan:
Oh, I see a Space Shuttle! Love that machine :P Almost bought one myself until I realized that, at the time, I didn't have the money for it.

Must have been a great time. There's pretty much nowhere around here where I can go and play pinball (there's an Addams Family machine at one of the cinemas, but that's it), so this must have been awesome.
ianomatic:
Were any of the machines for sale? or was this an exhibition kind of thing?
scott:
Some of them were for sale. The lowest I saw was one marked for $400, but it wasn't a very fun game. The rest were marked $1500+, with one being marked for over 12k. Apparently that one, called Miss World, has only 4 machines left in existence. Plus there were vendors and such there selling any pinball part imaginable.
ianomatic:
Cool. Im looking to buy a pinball machine soon, so i'll have to check out that expo next year. Thats if i havent already pulled the trigger on something else by then  :P
