With the PS3 Store closing down it's going to be a lot of playing catch-up the next few months.

The biggest pill to swallow is Drakengard 3, I imported the USA Physical Edition, but didn't have access to the DLC. So now with the store going down and me making a back-up, I had to buy not only the DLC but the game also - Luckily the main game has seen a considerable price reduction but the DLC certainly hasn't!

Finally one popped up at a decent price, I contacted the seller and we came to a price we both agreed too.
I'm so happy to add this to my arcade room.

I don't have a lot of space my self, the room I have my arcades in can hold 12 arcades at the most.
So I just look for arcades that have a special meaning for me. That are worthy of taking up a space.
I do have a couple I picked up just because they where cheap and may end up selling if something else I'd rather have pops up.

My April will be pretty bare bones unless the IRS gets me my severely late tax return. Been waiting on it to buy myself that Game Gear Everdrive.

I was going to buy Oddworld Soulstorm (PS5) when it launched and then Sony announced it was going to be part of this month's PS Plus. Pretty excited about that as it saves me $60.

Not necessarily a pickup per se, but a bunch of mods I'd bought over the past few months to create the Ultimate Sega Dreamcast. Took me most of the weekend and a little of today to put it all together. Here are all the mods I installed:
-DCdigital HDMI kit
-GDEMU ODE
-Noctua Fan upgrade w/ Laserbear Industries mount
-Coin Battery mod
-UV LED power light mod
-PSU recap
-Laserbear Industries GDEMU mount
-Custom translucent Purple Shell


I am freakin in love with this thing, and the best part is I did it myself :)

I would like to announce that with last night's purchase of a Sega CD/Sega Genesis combo, I now re-own every console I once had from my childhood. 

Of course I will be continuing to add to my collection with more obscure consoles.
Still looking for a decently priced FM-Towns Marty.

I'm currently going all in on building up my Genesis 32X collection at the moment. It's gotten super expensive, but I always wanted to do it. Of the 36 games for the system, I only want to own maybe 18 of them... and that's still a lot easier said than done at this point.

Normally i'm too lazy to post pick ups but i'm kinda bored and since it's pilling up on my desk. Meanly having fun picking up ps2 games at the moment trying to round out my racing and shooters for the system and whatever catches my eye on the way.

I think i'll start trying to get all the sega ages release there are only 33 releases so should be a doable goal to complete it by the end of the year since i have  a few already.

I had some Ebay bucks to spend so it made the game from $80 to Little under $50.
Game has been skyrocketing in price, Figured $50 was a decent price to blow.  :P

I've acquired every reasonably priced game I've wanted for the 3DS since my hunt began in January, well, the games that they still had anyway, which were almost always titles from 2015-2019. It was fun grabbing the literal last copies they had of some of these games, usually deeply discounted. There are still very expensive games that I want for the 3DS, like Shin Megami Tensei IV and Yo-Kai Watch 3, but I'll worry about those when I hopefully have the income to afford spending $100+ on a single game without feeling guilty.

Golden Sun: Dark Dawn and MGS3D were Amazon purchases. You can still get both of these games brand new on there for under 30 dollars each, surprisingly.

Bought Batman Arkham City, Skyrim Legendary edition (super hyped for this one) for the ps3. Just opened my Super Mario world GBA package a few hours ago. And right now Im borrowing Halo 3 and Reach so technically theyre mine. Eyeing Fallout 3 GOTY on the ps3

After nearly 4 months and a half they finally arrived. Kind of off got these consoles for a really good price on yahoo auctions japan and to not kill the deal i went with surface shipping, it toke a long ass  time but atleast i saved over 100 bucks on shipping costs in the end.
I diden't have a japanese og black xbox yet, so now i can finally say i have every japanese edition  ;D, also i've never owned an 360 elite before so now i do.
The ps2 slim is the final version (scph-9000) of the console kind of going to use that in my bedroom when i move this fall and since i've been boosting my japanese ps2 collection lately i'm going to get a lot of use out of it.

It's almost the end of the month but finally my latest purchases have arrived so it's time to share all of them together but first have to say that managed to get another Wii for the collection, in this case the white one, went again to another First Cash store and for only $ 25 bucks is now mine, it's in a good condition and with the sensor bar, the AC adapter, the RCA cable and the remote plus black controller, they didn't had the Nunchuck but I can really complain for that price, now I only need some free time and will try to "release the true power" of this little old fella.

Yesterday my purchases from eBay arrived, got a second pair of face plates for the New Nintendo 3DS, these plates are from the Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer edition, won an auction for a seller that only had bad reputation, guess that because of this nobody offered a single bet cause I won it for 25 cents plus 5 dollars of shipping, for what I have seen they cost more so I guess am gonna put them on sale later cause already have them at the console, purchased as well another controller for the Nintendo Switch, this time a wireless pro controller from the brand Insten, it cost me 25 bucks and only have to said that I don't regret it cause for less than 60 bucks I now own two controllers instead one from Nintendo.

At Mercado Libre got another two goddies because for only 700 pesos which is almost 35 dollars managed to get another two games for the 3DS am talking about The Legend of Legacy, already got the digital version of this one but still wanted the physical one as well The Alliance Alive, didn't knew anything about this one but since it's was a bundle/combo decided to get both, Atlus have never disappointed me so gonna give it a try, for what have seen at eBay and Amazon I got them for a very reasonable price  ;D

Want to know if people would rather have yearly threads instead of monthly threads for pickups. Considering we do not have thread length concerns, especially when there is a 1000 page thread on the forum already.

I stopped participating in these a long time ago, but I think either would work. However, if I were to choose between the two, I would say monthly seems a bit more engaging, as well as organized.

Monthly thread please, I don't purchase games that frequently but I do love to post them in these threads just to know and to keep a record in which month was lucky, this help me as well to know what others are purchasing and what am missing/need to give it a try plus I do prefer to read short threads.

Then at the Game Expo I was looking for a Rare SNES game for my collection. I saw one I wanted but it was CIB and was a lot of money.
I find another loose cart but the guy wanted $500 for it. OUCH. I go back to the CIB copy and talk to the guy and game me a deal for a CIB that was not much more then the other guy wanted for a loose cart. I wasn't looking for a CIB copy due to cost... But seeing how hard this game is to find especially with an decent Label and the price he offered me... I just had to blow most of the money I was planning to spend at the show on this one game.

Side note; I've been playing this game on my SF1 and damn I see why this game in in demand, its really good.

I was at a local Comic Book/Sports Memorabilia store and saw a Amadar box on the shelf for $12. I pick it up and look inside the box and see its full of Atari 2600 Manuals and catalogs. Many I was missing, plus I wanted the box. Nothing rare, mostly Activision games.
