Title: April 2016 - Recently Added to Collection/Recently Purchased
Post by: soera on April 02, 2016, 11:14:59 pm
Since its technically April, time to start a new thread!

And I think this is the first time in the 4-5 years here that I start it  :o

Today was Super Bitcon here in OKC. First and foremost, I got to spend the day with the homie Turf. Was a grand adventure of gaming, collecting, and chatting. I also happened to add a few things to the collection. I picked up that infamous Mario phone for $30. 2 PS4 titles (Lego Jurassic park and Warriors Orochi 3). A JP release DQ monsters game. And lastly I added Pesterminator to my NES collection which I think is the first NES addition I picked up in about a year.

I was in the middle of starting April's find forum and after I was done writing everything I double checked and yep someone started it before me. lol

I tried to go garage sale'n this weekend and there was only about 12 sales total, and I found only 2 sales that had games. the first had XB360 games nothing great and they wanted $8 a piece. Next a sale had a bunch of Wii stuff but someone beat me to it and bought it all. Hard to find much when there's only a few sales and there's so many resellers. Shoot I saw one and he was running once he saw me. lol

Here's what I did pick up this week.

Amiibo
Toys R Us finally got in more giant yarn Yoshi Amiibos so I picked one up.

XBone
Found a few games on clearance priced dirt cheap brand new.
- Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag ($7)
- Resident Evil 6 (paid $1 for it at best buy because of club discount, and $15 of coupons) lol

PS4
- The Order 1886 (on sale for $10)

PS3
- Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag (on sale for $4)

Wii
A game that I found out that people on Ebay want over $100 for.  :o Gamestop had it for $12 so I tracked down a copy.
- Crash Car Racer

CDi
Saw this at one of my local used game store for $25, don't see CDi games often then I looked online and saw only one and they wanted $50 so I picked it up.
- The Apprentice

GEN
They also got in a bunch of Genesis games in the box so I picked out a few, they all cost around $10-$3
- Bram Stoker's Dracula
- Super Smash TV
- Greendog
- Quackshot
- Columns III
- General Chaos

SFAM
The last of those Super Famicom "adult" games came in the mail. It's the same as other one I picked up but it's the earlier version.
When I tested it I only thing I saw different was the title screen but I didn't play much, mainly because It's hard to play without knowing how to read Japanese. Now I need to find part 1 to have a complete set.
- SM Chokyoshi Hitomi 2

And again here are the spoils from another garage sale:

PS1:
-Capcom Generations (CIB - 1€  :o)
-Vib Ribbon (Case broken and no manual - 1€ - never heard of this one)
-RayStorm (No manual and front cover - 0,50€ - it's a NTSC/J version of a Shmup that i never heard of)

PS2:
-Shin Megami Tensei: Lucifer's Call (aka SMT 3 Nocturne) (CIB - 1€ - I already have it in my collection so it will be probably be a gift for another gamer)
-Dark Chronicle (Aka Dark Cloud 2) (CIB - 1€ - that one too is already in my collection and the disc have a few scratches, i will probably go to a shop to repair it before gift that one)
-Psychonauts (CIB - 1€ - already have that one on Steam but it's good to have a physical copy and it's like new)
-Extreme Sprint 3010 (CIB - 0,50€)
-Lumines Plus (CIB - 0,50€)

PS3:
-Xploder Cheat System (CIB - 1€ - Still new & sealed)

Xbox:
Actually i never ever played on this console, a friend gave me his Xbox a few years ago but he lost his pad so i couldn't play with it, it didn't bother me before since i didn't had much games on it but i've got a few that i really want to play with since then (Red Dead Revolver, Outrun 2, Dino Crisis 3...), so i started to search for a controller, now it's done :D.

-Logitech Cordless Precision Controller (CIB - 3€)
-Fanatec Speedster 3 Forceshock (CIB - 5€)

I've got these too from the same guy, they're never been used before, the guy bought it a few months ago and though it was compatible for XBox 360 too but no it's for Xbox only.

Xbox 360:
-Resident Evil 6 (CIB - 2€) (I already have it on PS3 but i can't finish the Leon chapters on it, i have an infinte loading screen during the chapter 2  :-\, i hope i will have more luck on that version)

PC:
(all PC games were at 1€ each and most of them were still new & sealed, i started to open them before i take the picture, i couldn't wait  ;D)

-Colin Mcrae DIRT (CIB)
-Sims 3 Super-pouvoirs (aka Supernatural) (CIB)
-Call of Duty Black Ops 2 (CIB)
-Assassin's Creed III Special Edition (CIB)
-{Eva Cash} (CIB) (it's strange, it the same edition that i already have with the same barcode too but that one came with a lenticular slipcover)
-Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth (CIB) (that one was an used game)
-Deus Ex (CIB) (it was a used game too and it's probably my fourth version of it but this one came with the prima official guide inside)

I've also found a few game soundtrack (for 0,50€ each):
-Best of Pygnosis (from a French magazine during July-August 1997, 17 tracks from Speedster, Lomax, Microcosm, Destruction Derby 1 & 2, Wipeout & Wipeout 2097, Colony Wars and Tenka)
-Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey (from the same French mag. but during December 97)
-Turok 2 (it apparently came with a french mag. too during 1998)
-Music (i will have to do some research on it, the only thing written on it is that it can't be sell)
-Killer Cuts (YES ! i was a little sad that it didn't came with the Killer Instinct i've buy a few months ago and now i have it  8))

And i usually don't buy manga anymore (by manga i mean books, i still buy a lot of DVD but the books take too much space and cost way much more the complete series on DVD) but that pack was a steal : Ippo 1-28, X 1-8 and the first two Attack on Titans for 7€.

Just picked up A Series of Unfortunate Events, Metroid Prime Echoes, Kirby Air Ride, and another copy of Melee for $80 from a kid at my church. He would have taken less, but I wanted to be fair since he was trying to finance his first car.

I went out of my way to go to a few places I'd never stopped into before, but I always see them, but I forget where they are, see them as I pass and go ahhhhhh damn it.

Wasn't really missing much... but I did pick up 2 Wii games

Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo and Mystery Case Files: The Malgrave Incident

My wife likes the Big Fish games, especially the MCF games, and we've been watching Dragon Ball like crazy, so it seems appropriate.

My wife was kind of thrilled about both, she was all "This says we can play through the whole Dragon Ball story" and then I had to explain to her it is a fighting game like Tekken and such.

This past week I renewed my Live Subscription and got six Digital games for free the best part is that I paid only 20 cents for it, I guess it was because haven't used my 360 in more than two months, was playing at my old but always reliable Dreamcast and now I have Doritos Crash Course, AirMech Arena, Frozen Free Fall, Defiance, Borderlands (even when I don't like first person games) and Dead Space where I do already have the physical Platinum Hits edition of this one but since this one was free guess it's ok to have it again  ;D

SuperBit!Con was this past weekend.  It was full of games and good times. Let me see if I can remember all I bought.

NES
Overlord
TMNT 2 CIB (Now I have all the Turtles games boxed)

Famicom - I blame Mr Nikon for this.  I went over to the table looking for that Catship game (Parodius).  They had 5 for $20.
Challenger
Exed Exes
Majou Densetsu II: Daimashikyou Galious

My brother got Final Fantasy 2 & 3 to round out our 5 for $20

Genesis
Fantastic Dizzy
Cosmic Spacehead

SNES
Knights of the Round
Super Punch-Out!! Cart and Box

I bought some controllers, storage cases, and other bullshit too.  I love those SNES and N64 Storage boxes.

soera was nice enough to hook me up with this stuff for a great price.  Then, his daughter drew me a picture of me and "Jason's Best Friend" (my brother that was with me).  It was a blast.

I had some mail come in today.
Akumajou Special - Boku Dracula-Kun for the Famicom

As any of you that know me can attest, I'm a moron and have no business owning import games.  Well, this one is special.  I don't have to be able to understand Japanese or even know what the title is to have fun!

It's Kid Dracula for the Famicom.  It's crazy fun to play.  I got it because the FC version is cheaper than an English translation.

Finally, I own something I've been drooling over for a long time, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. ;D ;D ;D ;D Only one more North American Fire Emblem release to go for the full set! :D

How much does it go for in your region?

I paid about €80 here in Europe. That's about $90.

It was going for around $100 Canadian around the start of the new year, then the price jumped up a fair bit around the time Fire Emblem Fates released and our dollar has gotten worse since then too. I've seen complete copies from the US sell on eBay for $200 or more after shipping, "import fees", and the awful exchange rate. I paid much less than that though, since I managed to get one from another Canadian.

Wow that's steep.

I've still got to get both the GBA titles which go for about €70 a piece at the very low end in my region.

Trying to get all the Fire Emblem titles is no easy task. I lucked out with Radiant Dawn; found three sealed copies in a Gamespot for €10 a piece a few years back, within 6 months, sealed copies were going for ten times that amount.

Home from the 2 days of the Midwest Gaming Classic, I got my 1st big lot find from a garage sale and a surprising find from a resell group.

First my other pick ups this week.

XBone
Found a couple games off a clearance table for under $10.
- Madden NFL 15
- Terraria

Wii U
- Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

VITA
- Techika Tune
- Supremacy MMA Unrestricted (this game people are selling for over $100 for some reason, got it complete for $11)

Wii
Another game that people are selling on Ebay for $80+ so I track down a copy for $10.
- Maximum Racing: Sprint Cars

NDS
Found this at a goodwill for $3
- Wordmaster

GBA
The same goodwill got in a bunch of GBA games, nothing good but one I was missing. it was only $2.
- Herbie: Fully Loaded

I stopped at a used game store and he worked a deal with me.
GEN
- Ecco Jr. Box and manual
G&W
- Donkey Kong 2 (in great shape)

Then I stopped at another store and he gave me a huge package deal. $75 for all of this.
GC
- A silver Gamecube GBA Adapter (no disc but I have one)
- Pokemon Box (JP)
3DO
- John Madden Football (he just gave it to me) lol
SAT
- D
- Grid Runner
- NFL Quarterback Club 96
- Soviet Strike
- Street Fighter the Movie
SNES/SFAM
- FFII & FFIII manuals
- Musya (SFAM)
GEN
- A Sega Genesis 3 with adapter

FAM
Got this for cheap.
- Sachen Super 4 in 1

Now garage sales...

First a sale advertised Gamecube, I get there early and wait for them to open and of course a few resellers start showing up, when the time came the sale didn't open up and one of the people waiting knock of the door, a guy answers and was confused at first but his wife showed up and said she forgot. lol I ask about the Gamecube and she said someone showed up at her door the day before it already sold. (I hate people who do this) It was only a Gamecube system and no games so I'm to disappointed. She opens the sale and I find a Wii U box full of Nintendo toys. I ask a price and got everything for $6.

Next was a sale that had no games but when I asked he said he had something at his house, so I follow him to his house and he brings out 2 boxes, first one with Xbox games, I picked out 4 games for $5.
XB
- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
- Mortal Kombat Deception (CE)
- Midway Arcade Treasures 2
- MTV Celebrity Deathmatch
Then I look in the second box and see a Sega Genesis with the Sega CD and 32X with 32 games and a binder with CD games. All loose.
I ask about a Price for all of it and he first says $100 but I got him to take $80.
GEN
- FIFA International Soccer
- MLBPA Baseball
- Toughman Contest
- Jorden vs Bird
- F22 Interceptor
- FIFA Soccer 97
- ESPN National Hockey Night
- NFL 95

- James Buster Douglas Boxing
- WWF Wrestlemania The Arcade Game
- California Games
- Pit-Fighter
- Ballz
- Sword of Sodan
- Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story
- Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure
- Spider-Man / X-Men Arcade's Revenge
- Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition (x2)
- Warlock
- Altered Beast
- NBA Jam: TE
- X-Men
- Animaniacs
- Wayne's World
- Vectorman
- Cyborg Justice
- Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition
32X
- Cosmic Carnage
- Virtua Fighter
- Doom
SCD
- Ecco: Tides of Time
- Cliffhanger
- Eternal Champions
- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
- Slipheed
- Jurassic Park
- Tomcat Alley

Now from the Midwest Gaming Classic...
Day 1 - I didn't buy a whole lot the 1st day just because not many people wanted to make deals.

MVS
I picked up a couple MVS games, he wanted $80 a piece for these but I got him to except $60.
- Bang Bang Busters
- Ghostlop

SCD
Then I got a few cheap SCD games, I was in a MVS / SCD mood this year at the show. lol
- Slipheed (ya I know I picked a loose copy at the garage sale, but I wanted it complete)
- Iron Helix
- Battlecorps

And I got a box and manual for Haunted Halloween '85

On Day 2 I found more people willing to wheel and deal so I got even more.

MVS
I went back to the guy selling MVS carts and made a stack of games I was missing and all these carts would have been about $180. But he gave me a deal for all these for $105.
- Super Sidekicks
- Super Sidekicks 2
- King of Fighters 95
- King of Monsters 2
- Real Bout Fatal Fury Special
- The Last Blade

PS1
Found a PS1 game I was missing for only $6
- Command & Conquer

Ody2
My friend pointed this out and I had to ask about it. It was a game only released in South America and it works on a US system.
- Frogger

I had to support the homebrew game makers, Nintendo age had a booth and I bought some of the games they had.
There was one game my buddy and I wanted so bad, but he didn't have any at the show. We gave him our emails and we hope to get a copy soon. Here's what I did get.
NES
- Beerslinger
- The Incident (CIB)
- Swords and Runes (CIB)
- Armed for Battle (CIB)
GEN
- Blow Em Out (CIB)

And finally my big buy of the show.
A seller had 2 rare Sega CD games and the 1st day he wouldn't budge of the $150 each price. On day 2 they where still there and he made me a deal at $240 for both and I had to bite.
SCD
- Robo Aleste
- Lords of Thunder

My buddy was shopping for arcade cabinets and found an 80s arcade at a decent price and on our way home I was looking up on a resell site and looked up arcades thinking I'd find something for him, and I saw an Arcade for cheap and it was one of the 1st games I remember playing on the Atari 2600 and the guy was only asking $400. My buddy was spent and I was looked this arcade up and it sold for close to $1000. I contacted the seller and I went to go see it and It was in pretty good shape for it's age, no issues with the monitor and other then minor nicks and scratches it was in good shape. The only issue I could find was that it was LOUD. we could not figure out how to turn the volume down. I decided to jump down the rabbit hole and get it. After getting it home it took me several hours looking up on the internet figuring out how to turn the volume down. but I finally figured it out. lol It looks great in my four seasons room next to the Konami Arcade.

My wife and I decided to buy a sound bar yesterday because a Best Buy near us had a good one, in excellent condition as open-box for less than half the sale price.  Works pretty well too.

But in the process of driving to pick it up I stopped at several thrift stores and pawn shops.  Mostly nothing but trash, but I stopped in one and bought a few games and stopped at a Gamestop that magically had one of the cheap Wii games on my wishlist.

Evil Dead: Regeneration (Xbox)
Kinetica (PS2)
Armored Core 2: Another Age (PS2)
Suikoden Tactics (missing the game only, this was free, just need to find the game itself)

Trauma Center: New Blood (Wii)

I normally go to the food trucks outside of my office for lunch, but today the line was ridiculously long, like I'd probably still be standing out there.  So I went to go get some wings and while I waited for my food I went to a couple of pawn shops.  One shop had a couple of games I wanted, but I don't like when they just blanket state all games are $8, so I just left with nothing.  The other shop had a wii game I thought looked interesting marked as $2.  I couldn't recall if I completed my copy of Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Plus, but they had a loose disc, which is what I need to complete my copy, but they wanted $3 and it had like a sharpie mark on the disc inside of the plastic casing, not sure if it'll even play.  Guy rang up the Wii game for $1, so yay for that.

Broken Sword something something something Templar.(Wii)

Bomberman generation and billy the egg hatcher al pal ukv excellent condition

An awesome ps1 deal wich resulted in me getting these gems for nothing at all in the collection.

Also megaman legends 2 is way to pricey for a pal ukv It's insane.

Than personally my most exciting deal of the week wich also costed me nothing at all a new console for me.

At that point I told him not to bother showing them to me.  :-\

I had a fun find this weekend.  I went to a game store in Cabot, AR called Stage2Games.  I love this store.  The owner is a cool guy and loves to talk.  I end up spending more time than money in there.   ;D

I grabbed

Space Channel 5 (DC)
and
The overpriced/overhyped SkyKid (NES)

For a slamming $14.73 total.  I told y'all I'd find a cheap copy of SkyKid soon. I didn't know it'd be this soon.  I'm thinking I'm going to buy up a ton of these and flip them on eBay like an asshole.

PS3

Bravely Second was a pre-order pick-up. Project X Zone 2 was used, burned a points coupon on that. The Moco Moco Friends came down to $17.99 after a 20% off coupon + PUR discount.

I remember theflea talking about Merlin's Apprentice a little while back. We were in another city about 45 minutes away and there was this shop right off the Interstate that I remember had records at and figured we could stop by so my cousin could peruse their selection. Turns out they sell games as well so I'm scouring the glass cases of their eBay priced stuff and in the middle of a bunch of high priced stuff was that game and it was marked at only $9.99.  :)

Some of the CIB GB games came from eBay. I saw on the auction for Dexterity that the top was damaged but the seller did a good job of fixing it. What I didn't do was look too closely at the pictures for Mickey's Dangerous Chase. Apparently there was a send away offer and whoever owned it at one point wanted that send away item so there's a gaping hole on the back where the barcode used to be.  :o The other GB and the one GBC game came from a retro shop we found. That same shop had a few NES manuals I scooped up as well as a EU DS game, Boulder Dash Rocks!

Hit up a GS down the street and found a CIB Monsters vs. Aliens on DS for the kids for 0.99¢ (089¢ after PUR  ;)) and a PS3 game called R.U.S.E. for $3.

Last place we hit was this hidden away little mom n' pop store that was one part game store and one part arcade. The place was rather small (and humid) and we managed to get there before they closed. My cousin hit the mother lode on NES sleeves while I found a few games, the Tinkerbell game for the girls and the Hurry Up Hedgehog game for me. They were $5 each and just before leaving I also spied a PokePark on Wii for only $7 that I picked up.

Just to update, UPS still hasn't delivered my Bravely Second CE.  Seriously... it was out for delivery, I saw the UPS truck speed down my street.  They still won't provide any update on where my package is or the real reason why it hasn't been delivered.  We had NO severe weather or any weird weather other than some clouds Friday and Saturday.

I bought Sonic All-Stars racing for the Wii brand new for $4, I really had no interest, but brand new for $4, why not.

Probably ratio wise (What I paid to market value) the most overpriced purchase I've made in years, I bought Assassin's Creed Brotherhood (360) from Gamestop for about $7... why?  Because I just finished AC2 and wanted to immediately jump into Brotherhood.  I've been searching for a CIB copy of Brotherhood for a month or so, searching pawnshops and keeping an eye on ebay and Amazon, but I never saw a copy for under retail.  Oh well.

I don't know if you guys have a Meijer in your town, but they had a big clearance on Nintendo Wii U & 3DS games.
While some where only like $10 off (like Zelda Tri-Force Heroes) others where more then half off.

I picked up...

Captain Toad (Wii U) for $19
Code Name STEAM (3DS) for $10
Little Battlers Experience (3DS) for $10
Tomodachi Life (3DS) for $8

I'll show them with my full week pickups at the end of the week but thought I'd pass along to go check out Meijer if you have one in your area.

Might have a decent PS1 lost off craigslist today. Will post pictures when I pick it up after work.

Flea, we have to hit up sales together sometime this summer so I can learn all your tricks and get the games you already have!

So I had a craigslist deal that just went through. Not amazing prices like buying things for a few buck a piece but for what I got I paid $120 and theyre pretty decent titles.

(http://i.imgur.com/w8AOQNXl.jpg) (http://imgur.com/w8AOQNX)

- Saga Frontier 2 Complete
- Breath of Fire IV Complete
- Megaman X5 Loose
- Xenogears (Minus manual + janky home printed manual at top)
- Alundra 2 Complete
- The Legend of Dragoon Complete

So after I completed this deal I headed to the goodwill right across the street because I've never been there before. Its not great and is really old school in terms of stickers and just in general (the receipt was from an old school register, not even any computer screens.) So I'm looking in the CD section and DVDs for games and didn't see too much cool aside from a 3DO logo. Thought it might be a crappy 3dO game for the PC but lo and behold its D for the 3DO CIB minus the big box. This game goes for like $30 online. Brought this and the Diablo up to the register and paid my 2! dollars for the both of them. Overall I can say it was an amazing day.

always enjoy the company of a fellow gamer/collector worst part for you is getting here early morning. Lol
this is the main reason no one comes with me. But I've picked up people later in the day too.
While yes you would make out like a bandit just because of a collection the size of mine i get tons of extras.
i cant promise any rare finds. but everyone whos rode along with me finds a little something. The last time someone tagged along they got a bunch of gamecube & N64 games. Hmmm maybe i should start charging for ride alongs. Lol

I bought Shenmue this past week, and also bought a copy of NFL 2K to salvage a disc tray since my copy of Shenmue didn't have one in the front for the first disc.

Now, to pick up a Dreamcast... If only I had the space for one  ::)

Picked up a few games at a thrift store yesterday. Surprised to see any original Playstation stuff there. It's actually the first time I've even seen it there even if it was just a few sports games. Grabbed Bioshock for the ps3 as well. Played that a while back but never actually got around to finishing it.

But the real news here is I finally can add Suikoden II to my collection again after owning it as a kid and somehow losing it  :)
Pretty much paid retail for it but I don't even care. It looks like it's brand new and I've wanted it for so long. I can't wait to start it up again!

I didn't expect Twilight Princess to happen, but when you see that thing, how can you not? Now I never have to open my GC copy. ;)

I also got this super duper rare game called Super Mario Bros. Got it because it's not the combo cart. Now I've got every variant of these combo cart games, and that wasn't really intentional.

For me, I'm probably going to move into another apartment soon, and since I don't know what the space will be like or who I may be living with I'd rather not have 4+ game consoles to drag around along with everything else.

Who knows though, maybe my new roomates are gamers as well  ;D

Yoshi cap, KK Slider plush, Shyguy plush, hanafuda cards, Deku Link figure, Nintendo New York t-shirt, and three amiibos:, Timmy/Tommy, Famicom Robot, Charlizard.

Because Star Fox Zero was on the horizon they had a wonderful display featuring the actual puppets used in recent promotional material.

Just bought these for a low price. Since I have a friend who works at Best Buy and gives me "deals", I was able to get these pretty cheap. I'll show you what I mean.

1. Bravely Second for 3DS
2. Dishonored for PS4
3. Resident Evil 6 for PS4
4. Uncharted: The Drake Collection for PS4
5. Starfox Zero - launch bundle for Wii U

Here's a sample photo:

EDIT: Nice pics, badATchaos. I live in Brooklyn, near Manhattan and I've gone there a couple times. They usually renovate every couple months. Always looks nice in there but it's always packed. Never liked that.

Yeah both of us have 2+ years experience each in retail. We know the in and out. If the computer doesn't ask for a manager override, we're alright. Even then most of the time the manager doesn't bother verifying the BS price match and swipes then goes off to continue whatever they were doing. I don't abuse it too much but when I do, I do it at the right time with the right manager on duty.

I'd be too worried of someone auditing the system. They'd be able to easily see who was running the transaction. And I've heard too many stories of people losing their jobs and/or having their accounts locked over exploiting a loophole (even though it was legal).

Anyway, not trying to guilt you or anything - just don't want to hear another sad story of someone losing their job  :-[

It's fine, I told my friend several times I don't want to risk his job and he constantly insists that it's fine and he knows what he's doing. He does it because he feels like he owes me for the things I do even after I tell him he doesn't. I wasn't going to pass up on paying less, though. :P

I'm not going to keep beating on the subject, I don't think it's an issue. I'd understand tafk's concern if it were limited quantities and/or at a small retailer but it isn't. I mean, do you tell people who pick up rare games for a few dollars a piece that it isn't fair and it's scummy? There are plenty to go around, friend - you can't scalp this, lol. Don't need an ethics convo about it. I usually pay close to retail price most the time anyways, cut me some slack. So, those are my pick ups for now until maybe next month. More games added to the backlog. :)

Totally understood. Nice pickups indeed! The bf picked up Resident Evil 6 as well, but he hasn't tried it yet. I hope it's good!

And Bravely Second is definitely already on my backlog shelf... so many games in that backlog...

Played RE6 on last gen and to me it was the worst in the series (Leon's part is best). I will say that it looks slightly better and runs a bit better than last gen though, so it has that going for it. Decent couch co-op game. I like to get rid of older version of games and upgrade to the HD/remaster versions. As for Bravely Second, I can't wait to dig into that, I 100% Bravely Default and sent friends an attack of like 99999.

Buying sequels before finishing the first game. Collecting problems.

The real problem is buying games for systems that you don't own.
I bought a PSP and a XBone game this week.

Once I started doing that, I knew I was in trouble. I avoided games for consoles I didn't own but then got burned when I finally started hearing about Xenoblade Chronicles after they became hard to find.  I ended up throwing that limit out the window. I figured that console prices will just keep going down but if I'm worried a game will sell out, better that I get it at a reasonable price rather than several years down the line while playing catchup.

Yeah, I went into Best Buy today and not kidding, I only saw one generic JRPG sitting on the shelf. When I say one, I mean only one copy. One game. The entire shelf was empty. No Vita games. You should have done your research before buying/trading. It's pretty much a dead console.

I usually love dead consoles. I picked the Dreamcast and about 100 games a month after it died and I'm still playing it and collecting games for that system. It's actually the only system where I want to get all the American games for that system.

Even I've said the Vita was dead, but honestly the fans have been vocal and there has been some interesting developments in terms of physical Vita games.  Limited Runs has been in active talks with several developers and there are quite a number of Vita games in the work with them.

Also, Vita seems good for those who are not opposed to digital games.

This right here. I'm not saying the Vita is dead by any means, but it seems like as time goes on more and more publishers just don't bother with physical releases for North America. Thankfully, the Vita is still going strong in Japan with the huge Dragon Quest Builders and Minecraft userbases to keep it afloat. It's still too bad that the memory cards are so expensive. It would be nice if there was some way to use a regular old external hard drive with a PlayStation TV.

Most of the third-party exclusives for Vita aren't going to get ps4 ports for a long time or not at all. I'd say that Ys Memories of Celecta makes buying a PS TV worthwhile.

It was a good and sad day for me, in the morning i receive a "little" gift in the mail from a friend, the limited collector's edition of the two season of Spice and Wolf (a series that i really love) then like every Saturday i go to my favorite thrift shop just to hear that the shop is going to close definitively by the end of the next week (the woman who take care of the shop is too old to continue and she is really tired of been stolen almost every week, when it's not everyday, seriously who can stole an old woman... and for dvds at 0,50€ ?  >:(). I'm a bit sad since it was the only shop who sell games that was on the road to my job and it became "usual" for me to go there every Tuesday and Saturday since 4 years ago but "c'est la vie" like she usually say. So i have done my last purchase in her shop, she waited for me since she know exactly when i got to her shop and told me that next week she is going to have a clearance sale but today she let a few things go at a special offer for me (for her best customer she said  :-[), each game for 1 or 2€ and all the DVD and Blu-ray she still had for 30€, i came back home with 16 games, a Namco plug and play "console" (don't know what games will be on this one), and a little less than 400 dvd for 50€.

Don't worry i won't put the full list of the dvd here  ;D (and i still don't know exactly what i have anyway, my car's trunk is still full of dvd  :o) but i still got Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker, the Steelbook Limited Edition of Appleseed and the four seasons of Monty Python's Flying Circus.

Spice and wolf is a nice series one of my favourites.

One question that disc world noir ps1 that cover art seems unusual. Does the ps1 game have different variants of cover art?

Edit already found it, It's a french variant. Nice cover art though way better than the normal cover art.

Yes, like you already found, it is the french variant, it's pretty rare to have a different cover just for a country and i did not even knew that before starting to add my collection on VGC (it was strange to see another PAL cover for GTA 3 on PS2), but sadly it's not always for the best. I recently found Galerians on PS1 and sure none of the cover are "good" but the PAL version wasn't bad (http://vgcollect.com/item/46101)... well the french variant (http://i1282.photobucket.com/albums/a540/Metshael/23042016-0008_zpsnbtdcnpu.jpg) surely is in comparison.

Went out the last two days hitting as many garage sales as I could and while nothing grand, I still found a few cool things.

First the store / online pick ups.

I talked about this before, but my local Meijer's had a huge sale on Wii U & 3DS games.
Wii U
- Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker ($19)
- The Crood's ($2... ya $2) lol
3DS
- Code Name: STEAM ($10)
- Little Battlers Experience ($10)
- Tomodachi Life ($8)

Wii U
- Star Fox Zero - Launch bundle with patches

Now for the garage sales....

Wii
- Babysitting Mama in the box for .50c  :P

A bunch of Skylanders figures all $1 each. Most all even had their cards and stickers.

A Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze strategy guide for $2. (I just bought this game a couple weeks ago)

PS4
Found a PS4 game at a garage sale, unfortunately it was a sports game. It was only $2.
- NBA 2K14

PS3
A bunch of PS3 games for $2 each.
- Driver: San Francisco
- Need for Speed: The Run
- SOCOM 4
- Homefront
- Sniper: Ghost Warrior
- Crysis 2

NDS
I asked about games and the lady told me no she had nothing and as I leave I see a stack of DS games laying on a hedge. They where marked at .50c so I just bought them all.  :P
- Professor Layton and the Curious Village
- Picross 3D
- James Patterson Women's Murder Club: Games of Passion
Also at a different sale they had a couple crappy DS games I already owned for $5 a piece, but I saw a free box and found a Cars manual in there.  :P

And last this was the first find of this week of garage sales.
It was even the vary first sale I stopped at and it was just sitting there on the table. A box with an Atari 2600, 3 joysticks, 12 games and a game storage rack for $15. Nothing rare, but worth more then the price I paid.
Atari 2600
- Combat
- Pac-Man
- Missile Command
- Warlords
- Gunslinger (sears outlaw)
- Air-Sea Battle
- Home Run
- Slot Racers
- Space Jockey
- Donkey Kong
- Frogger
- River Raid

Other then that a few disappointments, One guy said he had a box full of NES and SNES stuff but it wasn't at the house the sale was at, he told me to come back the next day. I return and he said he couldn't find any of it. I gave him my number and I can only hope. Another sale the lady said he had a few boxes full of old video games but she refused to go get it and said she'd call me later next week. again I can only hope.  When garage salin' when someone says "give me your number I'll call you later" 99% of the time you never hear from them ever again.  :-\

You can get a brand new vita at most place (ie: gamestop, amazon, ect) for about $160 or so. That is a good price for the system if you ask me. Tons of great games on it and if you have a PS3 or 4 than the memory card issue isnt a problem because if you get a 4gb or 8gb card you can store all you games on the home systems and just load what you wanna play. Natural Doctrine, Valhalla Knights, Tokiden, and an enormous amount of JRPG's is enough of an incentive to me to buy one.

The Flea's 10k+ collection laughs at mine, especially his weekly pickups :p.

These great finds are few and far between these days for me. I probably only get this lucky once every 3 or 4 months.

Another awesome gaming swap meet today. Weather was beautiful and the deals were plentiful. Definitely the highlight were the PS1 games.

TRON Evolution: Battle Grids (CIB) (Sealed)

WiiU
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (CIB)

XBOX 360
Forza Motorsport 3 (Not For Resale) (CIB) (Sealed)
Ridge Racer 6 (CIB)

Decent sized haul that wasn't too heinous on my wallet (at least not individually...collectively is another story  :o). Tom and Jerry Tales came from a local mom n' pop/arcade place near me and was $10. The Darkness II and Tom Clancy HAWX came from GameStop and were $4/$2 respectively. TRON Evolution for PC was found on clearance at a Meijer for $3. Ridge Racer 6 and KidFit came from a different GameStop and were $10/$2 respectively. I've been after Ridge Racer 6 for a while now so it was nice to finally find it.

DK: Tropical Freeze was from another GameStop. It was the original Non-Nintendo Selects packaging. I got that along with Pikmin 3 for $15 each because GS was running a Buy 2 @ 14.99 or higher and get $5 off. The Pikmin 3 I gave to my cousin for his birthday that was earlier in the week. At the same stop I also picked up the MySims: Agents for $5 and the SW Battlefront: Elite Squadron for $8. A different GS about 15 minutes away from that one had the Kamen Rider game for $5.

Hit up a couple of Flea Markets today. There's a big one and a smaller one literally across the street from each other (well across the highway) and we usually do the big one first and then sometimes hit the smaller one but reversed it today and hit the small one first because they sometimes have better outdoor vendors. That wasn't the case today as we largely struck out on the outside vendors though I did find the Forza Motorsport 3 along with four DS games, Barbie Horse Adventures: Riding Camp, Tangled, My Horse & Me: Riding For Gold & I Love Horses (I'm guessing the little girl who owned them prior to me had a thing for horses  :P). The DS games are for my roomates' kids while the Forza is for me (honest!  :P). The lot of them cost me $4 each or $20 all together.

Inside the smaller flea was much more lucrative. I found a newer vendor there who was still setting up from the looks of it. From him I snagged the 3 Armored Core games for $3/$5/$5 and Airblade for $2. He also had a nice condition (and Non Nintendo Selects packaging) LOZ: Twilight Princess for Wii priced at $12 along with DBZ: Sagas priced at $5. He ended up giving me all six games for $20. About a half dozen booths down the hall was another video game vendor who had the Genesis Monopoly and the TRON Evolution: Battle Grids for $3 each. A different vendor had the Skylander figure for $2 and the Spyro GBA game for $4. Yet another vendor had the AvP Steelbook and Luche Libre. He had them marked at $15 and $8 but let them go for $20 together.

We then ventured across the street to the bigger flea before they closed so I could see if my usual guy had anything new. His place is where I found the Bust-A-Move 4 and DBZ: Legacy of Goku Carts along with a GunCon 3 for PS3. That lot ran me $20. Of course after I got home, I researched the GunCon to see if it could work on a flat screen TV and realized I didn't have the connectors for it so that will probably be going back along with that BAM 4 duplicate.  :-\

I'm still taking advantage of the live membership so Saints Row IV (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saints_Row_IV) was downloaded for free, dunno what the hell did they smoked when the game was developed want to believe that they were so freaking high cause the story is kinda ridiculous, it's the first game that I ever played of this franchise and I totally liked anyway Strider (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strider_%282014_video_game%29) and Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Street_Fighter_II_Turbo_HD_Remix) had a 75% this past week so added both of them to my Digital collection, paid less than 7 bucks for both titles which was a nice deal cause their prices of each one of them without the discount is more than 8 dollars I do prefer physical copies but since there aren't physical versions of this last two ;D

Not too bad of a find at the thrift store today.  Gamecube, complete with two controllers (One needs a new left stick), cords, controller extensions, and to my surprise since it was in a bag and I didn't notice, it came with a Gameboy Player (no disc sadly) and a copy of Wario Ware inside.  I still don't know yet if it works, I'm hoping it is, because 25 bucks isn't too bad at all.  Surprised at that price as usually the consoles tend to go for twice that most of the time, and then I saw two original DS handhelds for 40 a piece, when they are usually sub-20 lol

Lazy mostly lol I'll get to it here in just a few once I find where I put my razer at to cut these straps on the cords.  I have my own GB Player disc, so I can check it out too.

*EDIT*
And GC works just fine.  I'll clean it up and it's good to go.  Just need to test the Gameboy Player, though I'm sure it's fine, I just don't know where my disc for my other is at the moment.  Wish it came with the disc though, I heard the discs are more expensive than the player itself lol

I just bought a shitload of games in a humble bundle. Telltale had a bundle going. I think it's going until midnight.

It's a load of point and click games. I won't add them to my collection, and I have a bunch of them on disc; but I think it'll be worth the $12 I spent.

Yeah, I posted in the Kickstarter thread.

It's probably not what you want though.  More Shadowrun than Fear Effect.  But I love the franchise enough to give it a chance.

I've been on the road all morning driving to a continuing Ed class. Luckily, I got to stop and pick up a few things on the way. Grabbed 4 SNES games for $41 and some change.

Combatribes
Plok (It's an label upgrade)
Maui Mallard
Power Instinct (It's an Atlus game. It can't be too bad)

Got a bunch of stuff I've been wanting for a while now through the new Nintendo Humble Bundle. Affordable Space Adventures was the only game in the bundle I didn't already have an interest in, and the rest was all stuff I really wanted. Also picked up a couple things from the Golden Week PSN sale. They're all downloads, but they were cheap enough that I don't mind. Some from the Humble Bundle are digital-only releases as well, which made it easy to justify.

Through the Humble Bundle:
-Affordable Space Adventures (WiiU)
-Citizens of Earth (WiiU) <- The reason I paid more than the average
-Freedom Planet (WiiU)
-Retro City Rampage DX (3DS)
-Rhythm Thief and the Emperor's Treasure (3DS) <- The other reason I paid more than the average
-Shantae and the Pirate's Curse (WiiU & 3DS) <- The reason I bought the bundle

Through the Golden Week Sale
-The Misadventures of Tronne Bonne (PSone Classic)
-Suikoden II (PSone Classic)

Rhythm Thief is an interesting one, and I'd definitely suggest picking up the bundle for that price for that game plus all the other goodies. I have it on cart already but I'm always a big fan of games that incorporate rhythm aspects.

I second this! I don't think it's worth the market price of something like $60 (last I checked), but it's definitely a great game if you like the rhythm genre. The story is simple but fun, and the mini-games are very varied! I only stopped playing because I can't for the life of me complete a level, I believe it's R31. The system-tilting is impossible for me to get correctly, and it really seems like a hit-or-miss among people on forums  ::) Nevertheless, I have had a lot more fun than anything else with that game, and for the Humble price I really recommend it  :)

Yesterday was King's Day here in the Netherlands, so I managed to snag some great deals. King's Day is a national holiday in the Netherlands where we celebrate the king's birthday, and one of the most beloved traditions is the flea market. Almost every city and village in the country has a flea market on King's Day, so it's the perfect day to snag up some great deals.

I had to do some voluntary work during the day, so I missed a deal on an original Xbox for €5. Luckily, my brother got that one. As for me, this is my King's Day haul:

Apart from the non-gaming related Guy Fawkes mask and magnetic tabletop game, I got a universal remote control for my two tv's, since neither of them still has the original remote (and one of them doesn't even have the minus-button anymore).

As for actual gaming stuff, I got Lego Racers on PC for just €1, and Sonic Unleashed for €2, both still in really good shape and Sonic Unleashed is complete with the manual. Even for King's Day, that's a great deal.

But the most notable thing is obviously that console. I have no clue what it is. Obviously it's a Wii rip-off console, but all I know is that it was probably created by a company called Hamy, that the 18-in-1 game is obviously trying to copy Wii Sports, and that it's probably called Digitron (even though there's absolutely no labeling on the console whatshowever). I paid €3,50 for the console, the 2 cartridges that came with it, and all the controllers and plastic accessories.

To put it bluntly, it's horrible. I won't go into detail here, but just watch ProJared's video on the worst console ever if you want to know more. I have different games with it, but the console seems to be almost identical. But I did get a few good laughs out of it, just from the pure random things it threw at me (a complete 16-bit remake of the Wii Sports menu, completely fake motion controls, batteries that won't fit because the spring is wáááy too strong, a bootleg Ariel from the Little Mermaid, and that's just the tip of the iceberg), so I can't complain too much. At least it's something unique in my collection :)

Also, my local toy store was having a huge discount on amiibo; 50% of all figures. So I got Link and Fox, which now puts me at 26 amiibo in total.
So now I'm up to 26, namely:
Smash series:
Peach
Rosalina & Luma
Bowser Jr.
Yoshi
Pikachu
Jigglypuff
Charizard
Pit
Palutena
Marth
Robin
Captain Falcon
Zero Suit Samus
Meta Knight
Wii Fit Trainer
Duck Hunt-duo
R.O.B.
Mr. Game & Watch
Mii Gunner
Sonic
Mega Man
Pac-Man
Link
Fox

Other:
8-bit Mario - Classic Colours
Shovel Knight

And then there's the Humble Friends of Nintendo Bundle. Now that I can actually get it, I got it, so now I also have Retro City Rampage DX and Shantae and the Pirate's Curse (3DS).

So to summarize, in the last two days, I got:
I must say, I'm very pleased :)

Rarely do I find anything good at Goodwill.  Like 90% of the time, there's nothing there.  I walked in and browsed the usual stuff, the games and CD's, seeing the same crap games from a week ago, but laying out towards the bottom of the shelf, flat out so I could see his polygonal mug, is Mumbo!  It's a VHS promo type for Banjo-Kazooie! So awesome lol Finding something like this, let alone for one of my favorite games is just cool.

Oh god KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!! lol I have no idea the exact one you have but most rip off consoles are extreamly cheap and as such experience so many issues caused by shitty low quality hardware. Just think of the main goal of a ripoff console. to either make more money than you get sued for or to make it extreamly hard to track your company so it is impossible to get sued.

Its actually a great find and Im glad you got it! I have 2 wii ripoffs and 3 other ripoff consoles. most of them retail for ~25-35 USD but they are the systems you usualy are unable to find outside of retail, so its kind of weird someone was selling it.

That's what I love about flea markets. Anyone can sell anything. I've found stuff on flea markets that was way weirder than this :)

I remember seeing a console very similair to this at my local warehouse when I was a kid. I was intrigued by it, probably because of my huge love for the Wii, but I never got it, until now. :)

You're right though, the quality is terrible, even the on-button feels somewhat broken. Heck, even the battery slot and AV-cables don't work right! But I'm a huge sucker for obscure and unique (or "unique" in this case) gaming hardware. I don't know what it is, but it has a certain kind of charm. Maybe I just like this one due to my love for the Wii, who knows. But for €3,50, I did get some good laughs out of it. I definitely don't regret buying it. :)

*sigh* I just had to jinx it :(

The deal is still technically on, but I ended up getting far fewer games from this game than I had hoped for. The guy I'm making a deal with is a mega collector (think Flea-Tier) who is selling off 90% of his collection right now. Just to give you an idea, the guy has things like boxed Panic Resteraunt and Flintstones 2, Hagane, and other stuff you rarely see. I'm not getting anything that amazing off him, but still stuff that is hard to come by. Still happy about what I am getting though :)

Here is my entire months worth of games. at the begining of the month (first week) i splurged and bought most of the items shown here. got a bunch (27? ps2 games) off of gf78 for a very reasonable price. only about 5 of these came from garage sales. although I had an AMAZING month garage saleing the majority of the finds were doubles which allowed me to sell them. I now have $150 store credit above what I spent total in garage sales. so im looking forward to using that up when something good comes in.

from the garage sales i got:

Wii system all cords 4 controlers disney infinity base and skylanders base.
Klona 2: disc only
Jumpack: disc only
Legendary axe II: CIB :)
tintin
chicken blaster
and the blue SP

Its late here so I am going to sleep but I will post individual games tomorrow/ the weekend.

now that im looking though I sware I have a few more not in the pics...

I picked up the launch edition of Etrian Odyssey Untold at GS for about $20. The only problem was that the outer box was in kinda crappy condition, no design book/cd, and I had to use a spare case/manual for the cart.  But it's still a pretty good deal, especially for the launch edition prices right now being pretty high for a physical atlus game in the current gen.

and Samurai Warriors 3 (Wii)- $7

Had some awesome adds for the last two weeks

First of all some pokemon guides wich costed me nothing at all

The strange thing is that strategy guides come from collectors and I can buy them for 5 to 7,50 euro a piece shipping included in a lot. Strategy guides are pretty much never in hands of regular people so I find it pretty strange.

Even after selling a few I made my money back since most good guides I fetch 15 20 euro sometimes even more each. Definitly not a problem for me I'll happilly take take that sir  ;)

I've managed to snag a ps3 console for free in the collection with ni no kuni lol came with a gameboy deal

Konami krazy racers was also free

Everything in excellent shape, the ps3 console has all the inlays but no manuals. Furthermore it might be the worst ps3 console because of it's low memory but it was free and in excellent plus that i would only use the ps3 for only a few games.

Killer 7 cib
shin megmi tensei cib
phantasy star xbox cib

costed me 5 euro's in the end

Also the following games

tokobot psp cib
guilty gear psp cib
dragon rage ps2 cib
wipe out fusion cib
spy vs spy ps2 cib
bomberman 2 ds

20 euro's after trading some games in it costed me nothing. Jeez didn't know these kinda stores existed especially since i could never get those prices for the games I traded in.

The monster hunter tri control pro pack in excellent condition all inlays etc included 27 euro's shipped. i doubt i will find it any cheaper especially in this shape. I've could buy one in the past for same price but in horrible shape.

Dark stalkers 3 cib ps1 excellent shape
tiny tank ps1 cib excellent shape

Both for free

The mario gba sp console. This console wich is the most easy one to find of the special edition has teased me way to many times. I always miss out on it but finally I've managed to get one for free in excellent shape.

Castlevania chronicles psp 8,50 euro shipping included. Thank you strange webshop, even if it was a platinum version I had nothing to lose since this game goes for 20 - 30 euro's. In the end it was the normal version in excellent shape really pleased.

And finally after some years a Boxed nes console for a decent price. Picked it up today.

60 euro's the box is in outstanding condition on all sides well pleased. It's a bit more than I was willing to spend but the facts are that one does not stand a chance if one wants a very good upwards condition nes console boxed. 40 - 50 euro's it's impossible 60 euro's is also a miracle because everyone pays insane prices.

Even in bad shape it goed for 80 euro's these days, in this kinda condition I would be lucky to get it for 100 it might even get to 150.

Might be missing the system manual but that's way to easy to get can't complain finally a Boxed NES console

Outstanding two weeks can't complain. kingsday was a bust thanks to the bad weather compared to the former years but these deals made me forget about that day especially happy with the NES console.

Another week has past and had some good finds from the garage sales.

First the store/online finds...

A couple 3 packs for Skylanders Swap Force for $5.

I got a package from NISA and it had..
VITA
- Stranger of Sword City - Limited Edition
- Atelier Escha & Logy Plus: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky - Limited Edition
I already ordered and received Atelier Escha & Logy Plus and I ordered Nights of Azure with Stranger of Sword City. They quickly set me another package and in it was...
PS4
- Nights of Azure - Limited Edition
VITA
- Stranger of Sword City - Limited Edition

VITA
- Senran Kagura: Estival Versus - Endless Summer Edition

3DS
Was at a local used game store and I saw this case I needed and make a comment I needed the case and the owner was nice enough to just give it to me. (I buy a lot from them)  :P
- Cubic Ninja (case and manual only)

NES
A game I ordered at the Midwest Gaming Classic came in the mail. Just by the name I had to see what this game was. lol
- Cornball Cocksuckers

Now for the garage sale finds...

Found some V-Tech Smile games in a trash can while walking up to a sale.  :P

At one sale had a bunch of crappy sport games they was one I was missing for only $1.
XB360
- NFL Head Coach 09

Another sale had a bunch of PS3 and 360 games they where asking $5 a piece but I was able to get them to take $1 for these I was missing. When I asked about other games they bought out some PSP games, only one decent title, and they only wanted $2 each for the PSP games.
PS3
- NCAA Football 11
- NCAA Football 13
- Cabela's Outdoor Adventure
- Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2012
PSP
- UFC Undisputed 2010
- Capcom Classics Collection Remixed

A sale advertised video games and all they had was PS2 games. At $1 a piece I picked up these 3 games.
PS2
- Burnout Revenge
- Stuart Little 3
- Ben 10 Alien Force

There was two huge town wide garage sales going on. I must have hit more then 40 sales from these two events.
I got to the first sale and see a small basket with crappy DS games in it. And I see under them a pouch with a Pink DS in very good shape and another pack under that that had a purple GBA with about 3 games with it. I asked a price for it all and she said $20 and I couldn't say no.  ;)
NDS
- The Suite Life of Jack & Cody Tipton Trouble
- Cooking Mama
- Imagine: Wedding Designer
- High School Musical
- High School Musical 3
- Clue / Mouse Trap / Perfection / Aggravation
GBA
- Tetris Worlds
- Pac-Man Collection
- Spyro: Season Ice

At a garage sale that looked like an antique store, the garage was full of old junk and I see something of top of an old bookshelf. Three light guns. The first was a Nuby Sniper PS1 light gun for $3. And the set of Justifier light guns for the SNES. Both the blue Player one gun and the rare pink player 2 gun. This gun alone people ask for over $100 and I got the set for $2.  ;D ;D ;D

GEN
At one sale I asked about games and the guy said he had a Genesis but didn't want to sell it. I asked is there any he never played anymore and he said He's go look and came back with these three games and said he's take $3 for them.
- RBI Baseball
- The Little Mermaid
- Samurai Shodown

SNES
Stopped at a sale near the end of the day and asked about games. He said he had a Nintendo and brings out a SNES with 4 games. The system is a bit beat up and we was only asking $30 for it all.
- Super Mario World
- Donkey Kong Country
- Donkey Kong Country 2
- Primal Rage

NES
Both of these NES buys where kinda not from a garage sale.
While at a sale I ask about games and a random customer at the sale asks me what I was looking for? I tell him pretty much anything but I love the older stuff more. He tells me he has a container with a bunch of Nintendo games. I ask if he lived far and if I could see them but he lived like 10 minutes away and he was wanted to finish going to the sales in the town wide sale. So I give him my number and think I wouldn't hear from him. But when I was about to leave the town sale I bump into him again. He tells me he's finished with the garage sales and wondered when was a good time for me to look at the games. I tell hm now is good. So I follow him for 10 minutes to his home and he going inside and comes out with a container with 8 NES games with their sleeves. I ask a price and he says $30. we go back and forth on price and we finally agree at $24.
- Super Mario Bros. 3
- Excitebike
- Kung Fu
- Pinball
- Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt / WCTM
- MLB
- Casino KId
- Pac-Man

Then not long after this sale I'm at a sale and ask about games and a lady there says she has a Nintendo and she calls home to her husband then after talking with him a minute she gives me the phone. I talk to the guy and he tells me about the system and four games and we agree on a price of $30 and I travel to his house and pick it up. I get there and he shows me the console and inside the system was a 5th game. It also had a zapper, 2 controllers and an off brand controller. Here's the games.
- Super Mario Bros.
- Metal Gear
- Journey to Silius
- Ikari Warriors II
- North & South (the surprise game)  ;)

I found a few things in a thrift shop yesterday, they had a big choice of games at 1€ each, i found :

South Park - PS1 (CIB)
SSX Tricky - PS2 - Platinum (CIB)
The Sniper 2 - PS2 (CIB)
Gran Turismo - PSP (CIB)
Shadow Ops Red Mercury - Xbox (CIB)
SSX On Tour - Xbox (CIB)
Wartech - Xbox 360 (CIB)

In the same shop i have also found an accessory pack for the game boy micro (0,50€), the Spectrobes Gift Pack (that contains 20 cards and a poster, got it for 0,50€ too) and a book (in french ;)) Start! The Great Story of Video Games (for 4€).

And today i wake up at 7AM to go to the closest flea market and sadly it rains... i thought it was no use going to it but i was awake after all so why not, well i certainly did not regret going there, i found :

Panzer Dragoon Orta - Xbox (CIB - 2€)
Project Gotham Racing - Xbox (CIB - 1€)
Naruto: Rise of a Ninja - Xbox 360 - Classics (CIB - 1€)

-A Playstation bag with a Playstation and two gamepads inside (the bag and the console need a bit of cleaning though) for 6€ (and i have even got that cute little Eevee for free with it).
-Suikoden 3 OST (the case was broken and the cover was in a sad state, i've already changed the case but the cover still have a big crease in the middle  :-\ but i shouldn't complain since i only paid 0,50€ for it and i'm really happy that i add a new OST to my collection, and one of my most favorite soundtrack from the Suikoden series).
-And for the last item... when i made that purchase i seriously thought "Retro-gaming died during the night?" because i found a Gameboy (Transparent version, and it's in a pretty good state) for only 1,50€ :o.

That was a really good week-end  ;D

We found this place called Disc Replay where all of this came from, most for $2.99-3.99 each. They ran a special where you Buy 5 get 1 Free. Nice place but man are their price stickers a PAIN to remove.  Time to break out the Goo Gone! :P
