Title: VGCollect version 2

Just a quick update...
The new VGCollect will go live July 1st, 2013.
I've locked in all of the new features and am putting the final touches on the API. The new API will be independent from the site so that the site, mobile site, Android and any other future platforms will be consistent.

I just want to say thank you so much for creating this site. The sense of community here is just fantastic. I don't know too many gamers in real life, so it's great to have a place where I can just sit back and chatter over video games. I can't wait to see what you have.

Thanks! Those kind words mean a lot to me. We are really proud of what we've built and although most of us admins have been quite busy with stuff outside of VGC for the past year, hearing and seeing the community really inspires us to work hard and keep pushing out these updates.

...what else can I say other than - *ANY* community blessed enough to have ME as an active member...is by default...pre-destined, pre-determined, and bound to be full of Awesome-ness :P
- INB4 Soera (or anyone else here:) casts aspersions on any other things that I may be full of ;)

Wooo! Hoooo! :D I can't believe the day is finally....one month away... Oops I thought that said JUNE 1st, not July darn, I've been gone for a while and it would have been awesome if the site upgraded the day I came back. Oh well least VERSION 2 will come out in just a month! :D

Just a small update...
Looks like I'm going to begin the conversion around 6pm EST tomorrow. I'll post a full update then.
I've been putting in hours every night for the past month to rewrite the system from the ground up. That being said, there are a few items that won't make it tomorrow but will be merged in over the next week. Just want to warn you all that some things aren't polished but I really just want to get it out there patch/update things on the fly.
Thanks for all the support! Tomorrow is going to be a fun day.

the fact that it jumbles EVERYONES pms together, there isnt a STRAIGHT conversation like in a forum topic or email.
Theres one option that makes it KIND of like a forum topic, but it shows ONLY recieved from 1 user, NOT what I sent. x_X
