There is 2 kinds of "First Person Shooter Games" #1 the games that you are all by yourself up against tons of bad guys, and #2 the games that you have other CPU characters that help you shoot the bad guys
I prefer both kinds but the ones I am more curious about now are single player campaign squad based FPS games. I can name a few including every single Call Of Duty and Battlefield game ever made, at least for the consoles

Ghost recon and rainbow 6 obviously.

Rainbow Six Siege is a choice of mine. Although the game can be hard to learn. It's a great tactical 1 life per round FPS Squad base game.

that game is hard, just like Ghost Recon and the Rainbow series. In those games you need to use strategy or anyone with a machinegun can make short work of you, those kinds of games are not as fun due to how realistic they can be, and if some bad guy is hiding in a tree or bunker it's vary to find out where they are without getting killed or losing a soldier. However the original Rainbow Six for the PlayStation 1 is still playable. but Ghost Recon is for the PC is a damn hard game since the CPU shots are more accurate and the bad guys hide. with you having 1 or 2 hit deaths
Star Wars: Republic Commando I am not sure if that is the case, because I never played it yet. but it sounds cool also.

yes indeed, includes any and all squad based FPS view combat games where you command a team or just follow a leader, Viet Cong Purple Haze is also a squad based tactical shooter, but it's a lot easier then all the 1 or 2 hit death games, if you complete the game on easiest difficulty :)
I know another one that is squad based that is more like most the call of duty game Killzone II :)

Battlefield 1943 COD Warzone, and Black Ops 4 are not at all Squad based shooters. Looks like you just made a list of all the COD and BF games. At least these 3 have no single player component, so there are no CPU characters to follow/lead. I don't know about the mobile games, but revenue is usually in MP so i'm not sure all of those apply either (Though I've never touched one)
