Yay it seems that am gonna open the new thread for this month again 8)
-
I did some hunting today and yesterday and found a few decent things, but the highlight was these two hard to find gems. Both about 40% of their normal ebay price so it was a no brainer to buy them.

Nice! Attack of the saiyans is so underrated.

Does it count as June purchase if I got it June 1st but I ordered in May but due to stupid delays, I got it later than I should have?

Was at my local used game store and saw a game I needed was priced at $20, A used copy goes for about $30. When the clerk opened the case to show me the game I was didn't notice it was sealed. :o A sealed copy people want close to $100 for online so I had to get it.

PS4
- Shadow of Mordor ($2)
PS3
- MLB 13 the Show ($1)
XB360
A sale had a table full of newer gaming stuff, I get there and see a woman talking with the owner about buying a 3DS lot. It had a 3DS, a DS lite and about 10 games for each system in a large carry bag. He was asking $100 for it all, I waited hoping she would pass because I wanted to see if the games where worth the price. But she bought it. There was also a XB360 system on the table marked at $20. It was a model 2 and I asked if it worked, he said yes but told me he lost the cords. I asked if he'd take $10 for it because the cords where missing and he said yes.
NDS
- Kingdom Hearts: Re:Coded ($5)
At a different sale I ask about games and the lady tells me she was just about to put out this... A DSi with 4 loose games. I ask a price and she says $20. I try and get it for $10 but we agree on $15.
- Nintendo DSi (white)
- Nintendogs
- Beyblade: Metal Fusion
- Super Scribblenauts
- Pokemon White Version 2
PS2
- Rugby 2004 ($1.50)
XB
At a garage sale I see a couple XB360 games and ask if they had anything else video game and the guy says he has an Xbox one.
I ask if he means an original Xbox or the new Xbox One and he looks confused. lol (I still hate that name)
He brings out a box with an original XB with about 10-15 games, I look through and only saw one game worth buying.
- Star Wars: Battlefront II ($2)
A garage sale advertised "Video Games" so I hit the sale early and found out it was an Apartment. I waited for them to open and the time came and no one was setting up anything. I waited another 10 minutes and right as I was about to give up, the guy came out with tubs.
I walk up and ask about video games he advertised and he said ya they are mixed up in these tubs some where. So he and I started rummaging through all these tubs, we both found a game here, another game there after a while made a small pile of what we found. I ask what he wants for the whole thing and he says $15, sure why not. lol
PS2

N64
Been having great luck this year finding N64's.
Right after that last sale I hit a random sale and ask about video games, the woman said no, but the guy had that look. I asked what he had and he tells me an old Nintendo but He thinks it doesn't work. I tell him I wanted to see and bring out any games. He goes in and brings out an N64 with three games, all hookups and 2 controllers. I ask a price for everything and he says $12. Even if the system is dead it's still worth the $12 I spent. lol
- N64 with all hookups (no ram pack) and two controllers (tight sticks)
- 1080 Snowboarding
- Starfox 64
- Mario Kart 64

Went to the Flea Market looking for some comics and movies and actually came across a gaming table. Found a new RPG for my PSP. Looks like a Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance type hack-n-slash. Should be a great time-killer. Only $7, complete.

It just doesn't feel right when this topic slinks down to page 2.
Anyways, I've been continuing my acquisitions of the remaining Lego Dimensions stuff now that everything is clearancing out.
PS4:
Tearaway Unfolded - Crafted Edition
Toys to Life:
Lego Dimensions - A-Team
Lego Dimensions - Beetlejuice
Lego Dimensions - E.T.
Lego Dimensions - Gremlins Team Pack
Lego Dimensions - Harry Potter Team Pack
Lego Dimensions - Lego Batman Movie Story Pack
Board/Card Games:
Ticket To Ride: India
With this, I'm right near the finish line for completing the Lego Dimensions line. All that remains are 2 story packs (Ghostbusters & Fantastic Beasts) and 3 fun packs (Agent Chase, Knight Rider, & Tina Goldstein) and then the main line is complete. There are also the two promos, Supergirl and Green Arrow, but they aren't really worth getting at those prices.

:o
Now that's a haul!
-
It blows me away how much the price of Megaman Legends 2 has gone done, while how much Incredible Crisis has gone up. I think I paid just under $100 for Legends 2 about three years ago, while I paid around $10 for incredible crisis just a few years ago.
-
Got a little bit of everything in this haul of cheapos:
GCN:
Enter The Matrix
360:
Cabella's Hunting Expeditions
Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z
Pure Futbol Authentic Soccer
Game Boy:
Nintendo World Cup
Yoshi
GBC:
Army Men 2
GBA:
Lego Island 2: Brikster's Revenge
DS:
EA Playground
Ener-G Gym Rockets
Imagine Wedding Designer
I don't think the act of adding shovelware meant for young girls to my collection will ever stop being amusing. It's almost impressive how much of it there is for the DS.
-
I've been in Seattle for a few days and took a trip down to Pink Gorilla. I was pressed for time but I wanted to buy something and settled on Rogue Galaxy for the PS2.
-
Here we go again, another week full of pick ups. Had some decent finds from garage sales and a rare CIB game I had to buy.
First the .... You know what, this time it's the garage sales first. lol
NDS
Stopped at a sale and saw 3 DS games on the table, the lady told me she had a ton more but someone bought them all.
But they left 2 I was missing for only .50c a piece.
- My Virtual Tutor
- Feel the Magic XY-XX
A sale advertised "Video Games" and I got there kinda late due to hitting other sales first. I see a stack of games and they where marked $1-$5 each. As I walked out holding a small stack a known A-hole of a reseller in my area shows up and gives me a look of death. lol
XBone
- Halo 5 Gaurdians ($5)
- Star Wars Battlefront II ($5)
3DS
- Hey Pikmin (sealed $1)
A sale advertised "several gaming consoles" so I had to check it out. I get there as early as I can and see them setting up. They had systems and games for Wii, PS3, PS2, PS1 and XB360. I make a little bundle then ask if she would take $40 for everything. She was happy to take it.
PS3
- Sony PS3 Slim with 3 controllers, Move controller and charging dock, PS3 camera and a Turtle Beach headset (not shown)
- Sonic All-Star Racing
- Sonic Unleashed
- The Lego Movie Videogame
- Medieval Moves: Deadmund's Quest
- MX vs. ATV: Supercross
Wii
- Mario Kart Wii
- New Super Mario Bros. Wii
PS1
- Extreme Pinball
- Intellivision Gaming Classics
Next was a sale that I asked about games and she said she had some Wii, she brings out about 6 Wii games and I found two I needed.
Only $1 a piece. I ask about any other gaming stuff but she said try across the street.
Wii
- Backyard NFL Football
- Medal of Honor: Vanguard
So I go across the street to another sale and see a box full of games. She tells me they are $1 each then I see a little bag and look inside and see a DS with a bunch of games. And she said $10 for it all. I am not complaining. lol
NDS
- Nintendo DS Lite (Coral pink) with adapter
- Pinkalicious (CIB)
- The Cheetah Girls
- Monster High: Ghoul Spirit
- Imagine: Fashion Designer
- Style Fab Jewelry Design
- Paws & Claws Pampered Pets
- Nintendogs: Lab & Friends
GBA
- Bratz Babyz
- Hello Kitty: Happy Party Pals
- Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team
Wii
- The Bigs 2
- Super Mario All-Stars
WiiU
- Watch Dogs
XB
- Haunted Mansion
- Frogger Beyond
- Fuzion Frenzy
- Capcom Fighting Evolution
- Barbie: Horse Adventures
PS1
- Oddworld Abe's Oddysee
GC
- Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly
- Super Mario Sunshine
And last on Saturday I see an ad for a Super Nintendo at a garage sale, I get there early but still too late. Someone beat me to it. It only had one game (Super Mario All-Stars) I leave and hit another sale down the street and ask about video games, she tell me no, all she has is an old Nintendo I wouldn't be interested in. lol
I ask to see it and she brings out a box with the system and several games but the controllers and the AC adapter are for a Genesis.
I ask about the Genesis but she said no this was all she had. I tell her that the adapter and controllers don't go with the NES and she tells me I could have it all for $10. How can I saw no. lol Here's the games.
NES
- Golf
- Bandai Golf
- Goal
- Super Mario Bros. / Duck Hunt
- Super Mario Bros. 3
- Tetris
Okay, now for the non garage sale pick ups this week.
First I picked up a second Galaxian Tiny Arcade because the other one I bought fell off my arcade cabinet and the dog got a hold of it messing up the box.
XB360
Toys R Us is down to its last 2 days open and I go in and find one more game to buy at 80% off.
- King's Quest - Complete Edition
Next I was looking though rare games on Ebay and come across this...
CV
- Kill Barney in Tokyo
The seller says it's a homebrew prototype that was never finished. He had a make an offer on it, so I made and offer and he took it.
I played it and it's basically a target on the screen and you have a time limit to kill as many Barney's as you can. It has no sound but still fun killing those Barney's lol
Last I stop at my local used game store and I look around and I see they got in some rare loose Sega Saturn games, Not badly priced but I had them and I don't like loose disc games. (Dragon Force & Shining the Holy Ark) was tempted on Dragon Force because it's a different disc art then mine. Then one of the employee's sees me and calls me over. He tells me they just got in a bunch of CIB nintendo games. He brings out about 20 games for the NES and SNES. Here's what I got.
NES
- Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (grey cart)
- Metal Gear
SNES
- Castlevania: Dracula X :o
Zelda was marked at $40, not to bad and I was missing the grey version, Metal gear was $7 I couldn't say no to that. lol
Dracula X was $200. At first I was going to pass thinking I had it loose, But then I thought I can sell the game alone for close to $200 and get my money back. So I bought it.
They also got in... Castlevania, Castlevania 2, Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden 3, Super Mario Bros. 3, TMNT2, Snakes Revenge, Super Tecmo Bowl, Zelda (gey cart), Zelda II (gold cart), Friday the 13th, Star Fox, Star Trek TNG, and a few others not worth mentioning.

Picked up Rabi Ribi for PS4 from a local GAME, it was down to £10 and I got £1.10 off my loyalty card, as a special bonus it also had the soundtrack, which I wasn't expecting, thought that was a special offer which had come and gone. Very happy.
Did some trading-in at CEX and picked up some cracking blu rays: Flatliners (80s or bust!), Castle of Cagliostro (one of my all time favourite animes) and two Arrow Films horrors - Nightmare City (Italian zombie film, apparently the first to have 'running zombies', 1980) and Theatre of Blood (Vincent Price). I hadn't seen the horrors before, but Nightmare City was a peach, so looking forward to seeing Mr Price in action too. Arrow Films are a UK distributor who specialize in cult/indie/classic cinema, they're like Anchor Bay. In addition to cleaning up the originals for release they license and film new interviews and documentaries too as extras. Even though films and TV and nowhere near video games on my list of interests, I used to watch loads of horrors etc. in my teenage years and Arrow and their labels are rereleasing so many classics on Blu Ray - House series, the original The Crazies by Romero, Tetsuo Bodyhammer/Iron Man, Maniac Cop, Frankenhooker, The Guyver (Mutronics) and Battle Royale to name a few. Just checked their website and they're going to be releasing Heathers :D W00t! Gonna revel in cinematic goodness.
At the minute I'm clearing crap out of my collection, in several cases I've bought anything even vaguely resembling action games when the buying was good (IE when a system's just slipped into being old hat, like the 360/PS3/Wii now), but being honest there's not enough days in the hour for me to think about playing something "in case it's OK". Sod that, I want the kind of stuff I love or the cream of the action crop, not tired also-rans. It's not going to dip my collection much, a hundred at most, but even trading in nearly-worthless games is going to equate to some blu ray goodness or other games - both those horror Blu Rays were only £6 of credit each.

This was a pretty big week for my PC collection, i first found an offer on Facebook from someone who was almost trowing away his old PC collection (i got almost 120 games for 20€ :o, don't worry not everything will be listed nor shown in the pictures ;)... i haven't had the time to check everything anyway ::)) then someone who sold me a big lot of PC/Mac/Amiga Big Box last year contacted me again to tell me that he found a few more in his attic (6 big box for 12€, one of them is still sealed... usually i would have opened it already but this one is from 1987 so i'm really hesitating, i will probably try to trade it for a month or two), and finally a few things i found Sunday at a garage sales (a few PS1 and PS2 games like always and then a few more PC games :P, someone had three boxes full of them still new and sealed... almost ten or twenty copies each of the same games but i still found things i didn't had and he even had a few DS and 3DS games still new and sealed in the last box).
PS1
Adiboo and the Green Shadow
Atari Anniversary Edition Redux
Hugo Frog Fighter
Men in Black: Crashdown
PS2
Energy Airforce: Aim Strike!
Enthusia Professional Racing
F1 Career Challenge
FMX: Freestyle Metal X

From the 120 games lot (just a few of them ;)):
Hits Essentiels 2004/2005 (a few games i didn't had like Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness)
Hits Essentiels 2008/2009 (another Tomb Raider i didn't had on pc: Tomb Raider: Anniversary)
Might & Magic: Heroes Collection
Tomb Raider III: The Last Artifact (i didn't even knew that TR3 got another version with 5 more levels and with all those Tomb Raider games i found lately i really want to replay the old series again)
Unreal Anthology
Warhammer 40.000: Dawn of War - Game of the Year
The Big Box lot:
Forgotten Realms: Pool of Radiance
Forgotten Realms: Baldur's Gate + Tales of the Sword Coast
Might and Magic: World of Xeen (this is the Mac version)
Les Visiteurs
Papyrus: Le Secret de la Cité Perdue (i didn't knew they made games based on this series, i'm glad since i loved the animated series as a kid)
Wordtris (that's the sealed game, i don't know anything about collecting old sealed games but in this case the plastic seems to... shrink, the box seems to be compressed by it... i'm really forcing myself to resist the urge to tear off that plastic)
And my loot from the garage sales (all of them were new and sealed so the Steam keys worked just fine ;D):
Citadels
Coffret Aventure (Deponia, Ghost Pirates of Vooju Island and Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle. Deponia comes with the physical soundtrack 8))
Dark
Fire Department
The First Templar
Rising Storm
Sniper Elite V2 - Collector's Edition (comes with the first Sniper Elite, most of the DLC, an artbook and the physical soundtrack)
Whispers
I also got three novels on Diablo, a controller adapter for PC/PS3/PS4/Switch (that can connect most of wireless and wired controller to those devices), the Vynil Edition of Good Morning England and a complete version of the Max Payne movie, the one i owned didn't have the slipcover (really cool slipcover by the way, it makes me remember the cover of the first Max Payne game (http://m.blog.hu/fo/focker/image/J%C3%A1t%C3%A9kaj%C3%A1nl%C3%B3khoz/2209942-box_mpayne.png))

Yeah well for Wordtris, idk if it is worth opening the box, or at least IDK if having it sealed has any real value either, other than it is sealed after all this time. I'm sure the disk image for that game is available online somewhere that you can try and see if you like it. ;)

Sometimes when I see games out and about, I will buy them for the sole purpose of making sure they are properly documented on VGC. Here is one example, since I can't read or speak Polish... and normally I would not see a Polish PC game here in the US... Least of all sitting along with the US version!
All of these are thrift gets except Transformers: Devastation, purchased from TRU clearance on the last day.

Yeah i asked around and it seems that the games on PC don't really have a value sealed (except for some particular games), so i think i will keep it sealed for now to see if i can find someone who want to trade it and like you said if i want to play that game, i can find other way to do it anyway.
