Infinity Wars is now #1 for Marvel movies, in my book...nay, #1 for all comics movies!

My new top 5 list of favorite Marvel films:

1. Avengers: Infinity War
2. Iron Man
3. Thor: Ragnarok
4. Guardians of the Galaxy
5. Captain America: First Avenger

What's your pick for top 5 Marvel movies?

Interesting topic. Im a geek for Marvel movies as comics were my #1 thing all growing up (at some point even more than gaming). So, with that being said, here's my choices (Btw, I have not seen Black Panther or Infinity War yet ... this could slightly change after) -

#1 : Dr Strange. I may be a bit biased because he's my boi but I loved the movie regardless.

#2 : Avengers: Age of Ultron

#3 : Thor: Ragnarok

#4 : X-men: Apocalypse

#5 : Ghost Rider

#6: Punisher: War zone

Doctor Strange was really good. Loved the travelling through dimensions scene, so cool. The ending was very clever. And Cumberbatch literally looked as if Dr. Strange just jumped out of the comic book and onto the big screen. So spot on.

Other than Infinity War, the rest is just general placement.  Also I'm just picking the official Marvel line, not Marvel in general, so no X-Men or anything like that.

1 - Avengers: Infinity War
2 - Thor Ragnarok
3 - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
4 - Captain America: Winter Soldier
5 - Spider-Man: Homecoming

I watched Infinity War this weekend, and one of the friends who went with me (he's seen all the films and enjoys the comics as well) also said it's now his number 1 for the current MCU films.

I personally had only watched 4 films prior, so that makes my list easy ;)

Of all the films I watched prior to Infinity War, though, I'm glad I watched those 4. Had I missed any of those, I would've been confused for sure (esp with Doctor Strange / Black Panther). If I had gotten a chance to watch one more film prior, I think it would have to be one of the Thor films since I don't know anything about him, really, or Loki outside of the memes.

1. XMEN: Days of Future Past
2. Blade
3. Logan
4. XMEN: First Class
5. The Punisher (2004)

If you're noticing a theme here then good on you. The Disney Marvel Universe bores me and appeals very little to me. I've tried to to get into it, but honestly I've never been a big fan. Sadly, with Disney in charge of all of Marvel I doubt I'll be seeing any new Marvel movies now.

I didn't even know there was a Dr Strange movie outside the 70's made for TV one (Which I....uh, liked a lot...lol) Being a marvel fan going way back, I like pretty much anything. I don't know if I could pinpoint 5 specifics, but the X-Men movies were awesome, as that was my favorite comic as a kid.

If we are talkin just the MCU then I'd go with

1. The Winter Soldier
2. Guardians of the Galaxy
3. Civil War
4. Spider-Man: Homecoming
5. Iron Man

If we aren't talking just the MCU drop Logan in at #2

I know this is a joke post and all, but I REALLY liked the that Punisher (1989) and Captain America (1990) movies as a kid. Back then, the only good superhero movies were Batman and Superman. So those were great to have around, because we didn't have the glut of superhero movies we have now. I still have my VHS copies of both.

You've got to admit that Red Skull's make-up looked awesome.

I've already seen Infinity War twice.  I loved it.

1) Infinity War
2) Captain America: Civil War
3) Dr. Strange
4) Spider-Man: Homecoming
5) Avengers

These are some really good movies.  I wanted to add Black Panther, Ant-Man, and Winter Soldier to the list, but I ran out of spots.

I went Friday.  Then, I was out of town for work on Monday.  The town I was in had a IMAX.  Time to kill and an IMAX? How could I pass it up?

Yeah, Punisher ‘89 is a perfectly serviceable 80s actioner.  It’s just just not quite a Punisher film.

Logan
Men in Black 3

MCU:

Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Marvel’s The Avengers
Guardians of the Galaxy

Honorable mention:

Blade
X2
Men in Black

Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer happen to be a guilty pleasure for me.

A slight adjustment I'd make since this was originally done in 2018, is that I'd put Endgame alongside Infinity War as you can't have one without the other, it's two part deal.  I also am booting out Homecoming, not because it's bad, I am just not sure why I had it there in the first place as I feel like I'd rather have original Iron Man in the spot, as there is a lot of importance to the film and it establishing this ridiculous universe, though I still really enjoy Homecoming.

1 - Avengers: Infinity War/Endgame
2 - Thor Ragnarok
3 - Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
4 - Captain America: Winter Soldier
5 - Iron Man

Im going to change mine too.

1: Infinity war/Endgame - I agree that they are a 2 part deal!
2: Dr Strange
3: Captain Marvel
4: Punisher: Warzone
5: Everything else (other than the newest Fantastic four - that movie is utter trash)
