Title: OBTAINED - Earthworm Jim HD was delisted from PSN Store

Is there someone here from Europe who owns "Earthworm Jim HD" (PS3) on his/her PSN account?

The game was delisted and I'm looking for someone who can let me use his/her account just to install the game on my PS3.

I got it!

One guy from Twitter has let me install the game for the price that he paid for it and now it's running on my PS3.

Kind regards and thanks to everyone, now there's only one game left to obtain: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD Ver.

No one is going to give their account password to a random on the internet.

Play it on steam and stop making these threads.

I would even pay for it.

I've got a lot of positive feedback on eBay, if that is useful.

yeah dude I agree with Seether.  You really expect a complete stranger to just give you their account?  Come on, enough with the e-begging.

Sure.

But if I pay for it, both of us earn something.

Even if he could, the HD version has been delisted from everything. However the original PC version is available.

hahaha nice try. Then you hack their account and steal all their info.  That's not how this works.

If the other person enables two-step verification, he just have to tell me the access code for PS3 and not his password, then I install the game and he clicks on "disable this code" from the website.

Wait, I'm confused- if it's delisted, what does borrowing an account accomplish? If the proper account owner deactivates your console from his account, then the game wouldn't run becuase you wouldn't be authorized to run it. If you've bought it before, you should still be able to re-download it without help.

Methinks it's time to grab a parrot & run up the skull & bones, if you catch my drift.

I think that there's no problem with "deactivation" on PS3, it doesn't work like it does on PS4.

I'm still using "Wolfenstein 3D" installed from the account of another person who helped me with this.

EDIT: I've been trying right now and "Wolfensfein 3D" doesn't let me use it anymore, so you are right.
Then I would need the person to let me keep my console activated until I could finish the game.

Isn't this against Sony's terms of service?

Of course, Earthworm Jim HD and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD Ver. are the two games that I want and I can't buy.

I'm a videogame collector and I would never use that kind of things like sharing account, but I can't obtain those games in other way.

The other way is to find someone who directly SELLS his account.

Sorry if this posts are bothering someone, it's not mi intention.

Which is also against Sony's ToS.

This is one of the weaknesses of games being purely digital, where legal issues or expiring rights can make a game disappear from the storefront. However, the game was available for 8 years before it was removed from PSN and Xbox Live; can you really consider it a "must play"?

Fun game. This was the version I played many years ago. An unfortunate victim of the digital age.

Hey this is a huge necropost, but I'm looking for this game in the USA.

I downloaded the demo waaaaay back and never got the full game. Recently rediscovered it with my kids, and they're begging me to get the full game. They love the demo, and play it over and over.

Anyone in the USA able to help?

Thank you so much!

Unfortunately the game was pulled out from the Store and is not available for sale, anymore.

The only option could be install PS3Hen (Homebrew) and use it for play the full version.

Certainly wonder why they just left the game behind considering it was a quality remaster for a classic game, I could have bought it on Switch for a fair price.

Yeah, it's really unfortunate. I would definitely buy it for PS3 or Nintendo Switch, my kids really want to play it.

Even though it is off of the PS3 store, things that have been previously downloaded can be redownloaded. That is how I was able to redownload the demo that I have now. So, similar to the original poster here, if someone has this downloaded on their PS3 account, I could feasibly obtain that copy by downloading it from them. I understand the concern about sharing account information, but I'm not really sure if there is another way.

But, as already mentioned and realized above. After the account you used for download deauthorizes your machine. You will no longer be able to play the download from that account.

Ok I am bad with technology, so how did the OP get a download from somebody? It would seem that there is another way...

He probably left the OP's PS3 authorized (You can have 2 authorized at a time)
