With sites putting them in other genres, and some games with any fmv (ff7) also adding to the confusion there has never been a complete lust. FMV games go from arcades, to pcs and consoles, and a lot of them are good or bad but in a funny way. So lets make a list! Ill start, and what you post I will add to the list!
FMV GAME LIST:
DRAGONS LAIR
Psychic detective
Corpse Killer
Creature Shock
Space Ace
Mad Dog
Mad Dog 2
Soldier Boyz
Time Gal
Strahl
Sewer Shark
Phantasmagoria
Burn:Cycle
Tom Cat Alley
Double Switch
Microcosm
Revenge of the ninjaNight
Trap
Daedalus Encounter[

Do Dragon's Lair and Space Ace have Full Motion Video?
I thought fmv games were those with real actors, like Mad Dog McCree.

Isn't FMV just compressed video?

I don't know. I guess we need to figure that out before we start. :P
*Edit: Turns out I don't know what I'm talking about.
According to Wikipedia: A full motion video (FMV) is a video game narration technique that relies upon pre-recorded video files (rather than sprites, vectors, or 3D models) to display action in the game. While many games feature FMVs as a way to present information during cutscenes, games that are primarily presented through FMVs are referred to as full-motion video games or interactive movies.
So, it looks like FMV is a game that you have limited control of. Dragon's Lair and Space Ace are in. My bad.

This list is going to be very Sega CD, 3DO, and CD-i heavy.

The dame was loaded/DOS 1996
If you think about it, this is an interesting/different topic. I have never seen any tops list for fmv games. This will be a good read on peoples opinions on top fmv games.

3DO does not have that many fmv games.

Well it is the best game on the CD-i (and fun to play) next to Kether and Choas Control. ...... And I think there may be 3 more good games on there...

I don't have a 3DO, so I can't make a huge argument for this or anything. But I just watched the latest Game Sack episode, which covers 3DO, and they seemed to find plenty of FMV stuff to review for that episode.

Out of over 300 games the FMV games don't take up 5% of that. But that's the reception the system has (for some reason) so i don't blame you for thinking that in the slightest. The CD-i and maybe the Sega CD are the only consoles with large FMV games (not including cutscenes and intros) to other genre ratios. I actually believe the majority of CD-I games are FMV unless you include Edutainment games.
But, uh, people usually don't play those unless they are from Humongous entertainment.
