No. In the post-apocalyptic society, there'll be no infrastructure to support digital games.

This beauty arrived earlier this month... and later, a few GBA cartridges followed.

Sonic Advance
Zelda: A Link to the Past / Four  Swords
Zelda: The Minish Cap

Got a yellow Game Boy in the mail from Japan today. Even came with Hoshi no Kirby for free. :)

A small gesture like that would make my day. :D Maybe I should try my luck /w a yellow GB. :)

One of the best soundtracks ever, if not the best ever.

Not bad... not bad at all! In fact, the OST really makes me wanna try out the game.

It's worth a try if you like RPGs. Even if you aren't it's pretty beginner friendly. Easily in my top 5 PS3 games. It isn't too expensive either.

I better get myself a PS3 console, then! Hehe  ;D

I've never played Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge and Castlevania Legends for the GameBoy, but I imagine I'd feel some sort of nostalgia playing 'em.

A long awaited parcel arrived today. Hikari Shinwa: Palutena no Kagami (Kid Icarus) for the GBA. It's friday evening over here (8:10 pm) and I'm having a craft beer, just chilling. Doesn't get better than this.

Nice.  I want to try that Iron Maiden Eddie beer so bad!   8)

The Trooper? http://www.brandsforfans.se/trooper/the-drinks.html It's pretty nice! :) In Sweden we've got this company that houses beer for a lot of (metal) bands. Not sure if it's the same in the States, but I really like the Motörhead Bastards Lager Beer.

Yeah...the Trooper!  Me want! Most of those craft beers never make it to the States, at least not where I live.  It's all Budweiser stuff for the most part.  Sam Adams, Corona and Heineken are readily available as well.  Oh, and Blue Moon.

No decent microbreweries in your area?

Nothing remotely close.   :'(

Ouch. :(

Let me tell you about where I live. Mind you, I love it here because it's the country, people aren't jammed up my rear and I get to see beautiful wildlife including deer, turkey, a very rare mountain lion appearance, Bobcats, chipmunks, turtles, squirrels, raccoons, quail, coyotes and twice in the last 30 years, a beautiful wolf. Most people are friendly and will strike up a conversation with you. Great, right?

Unfortunately, the political climate is charged and if it ain't Budweiser, it's not really around. I'm not going to get political and I believe everyone has the right to feel, believe, love and vote however they want. But I get real tired of hearing "That commie Mus-lam Osamabama done got it in fear our Guinns!  He's ruined this here country. Gasoline done gone be eight dollars by time he's out!  Who knows when that gonna happen!  He's building FEMA death camps and gone declare martial law!  The Muslim flag gone fly over White House yessiree."  Blah, blah, blah. It gets old. Oh, and everywhere you go with a tv on, it Faux News and their propaganda-laden spiel.

Like I said, I don't care what side of the political spectrum you fall on. But I can't stand hearing that fear mongering bullshit.

Sorry to hear...   :-\ Cruz and Trump are laughing stocks over here... but something tells me we might choke on that laughter later on. The world will be a more dangerous place if one of them get elected president, I fear.

I usually do a playthrough as good... and all playthroughs after that initial one, I play as evil. The two KotoR games are a perfect example of this. It's harder to play the path of evil, when it comes to the challange it gives my empathy, but somehow much more rewarding.

Is there a game (or games) you just can't let go of?

The latest installment in the Sid Meier's Civilization series is a game that I can't tear myself away from. I'm talking about the true CIV, not the dumbed down Revolution series. Any one else got the "one more turn" sickness?

The fact that Nintendo hasn't done a full-on 2D Zelda on a console since the SNES, is kind of my point.

Me and my siblings had such a good time playing this game! Recently, I played TowerFall and it instantly reminded me of the enjoyable multiplayer experience that is The Four Swords Adventure. The fact that you could use your GBA screen for sneaking up on your opponent (alt. hiding for your life) made the game even better.

I've said it before... and I'll say it again. I cannot let go of the masterful soundtrack by Soshiro Hokkai on Harmony of Dissonance. I feel a strong urge to listen to it every day.

Dear vgcollectors!

My name is David and I used to be more of a hardcore gamer. Nowadays, I seldom find the time to play games at all... so I've mostly turned toward collecting games I'd like to play in the future. As a father, most of my spare time is consumed together with my two year old daughter. I'm born in Stockholm but I've spent most of my life in the northern parts of Sweden. I currently reside in Umeå, home of Refused and Meshuggah.

I missed the whole DS era, so that's something I first set out to change when I started collecting (again). Now I've turned toward japanese releases of games that I've enjoyed in the past. In the future I'd like to pick up a PS Vita and a new 3DS.

Oh... and I'd love to get my hands on a complete PAL Kid Icarus short box for the NES... and the Metroid / Kid Icarus split 7" vinyl single!

Thank you for the opportunity to be a member of such a fine forum!
