The PlayStation 4's update 3.00 launches tomorrow. Among the new features added is the ability to form "communities". Communities are very similar to Steam groups, to give you an idea what they're like. They have their own message boards, allow players to share screenshots with the group, and can start parties/groups for games. Would anyone here be interested in joining one for VGC and would one of our admins here with a PS4 be willing to create one for us?

Nope, you can't. It's one of the dumbest things for any of the "online" consoles to do - make it more difficult to add friends to your list.

The update is live and I've created the community. For now it's just called "VGCollect". I've started to invite anyone here who has expressed their interest in joining, beginning with the first replies to the OP. I'll invite more people later in the day once I'm home again.

Ok so i joined, but i am trying to start a seperate community for my other forum and it keeps telling me invalid keys and next is grayed out.... How you manage to make it lol

For some reason, it might not like one of the words in the community title. It did that for me as well this morning. I tried to call our VGC community "VGCollect's Unofficial PS4 Community", but it didn't like "unofficial" being in the title, so I had to remove it before it would let me move forward. ??? That's why it's just called "VGCollect" at the moment.

Good to hear people are getting the invites. As of right now, I've sent invitations to join the community to everyone who's expressed interest in this thread, with the exception of Soera (I don't know your PSN ID so I couldn't send an invite yet). I've set the community to open so that anyone can join without an invite or approval to make things easy for anyone who wants to join later.

To add a picture to the account, use the playstation app. Save the pic you want to your phone, than with the app, send the picture in a message (to me is fine). Turn on ps4 and go to messages, click the person you sent it to, and click the pic so its big. Hit share on the ps4 controller, and save pic, than you can upload it.,

Bumping this thread again, after my posts magically disappeared last night and it got re-buried deep in the general section. I'll just have to repeat myself.
I decided to give this thread a bump as it's been quite a while since this thread was posted in, and we've had plenty of newcomers since then.
The VGC PS4 is open for anyone to join, so feel free to join the rest of us. No invites are necessary to join, but if you're having trouble finding it on your PS4 just post about it here and myself or somebody else already in the community can send you an invite.
