General / Will digital games make the older physical games more collectible?

I was wondering once physical games are gone will that drive the price and collectability of physical games up or will most people be content playing only new games? For me I would only be interested in a select few I absolutely new I was going to like and play. The way I buy games now I'm more likely to buy a physical game with the intention of playing it eventually. Then if I don't it gets put into my backlog of games I want to play.
With digital only games I won't have to buy it now worried I won't be able to find it later or that it went up in value. It would always be there as digital when and if I decided to play it and Mabey even on the cheap. Sound like I would save a lot of money unless I was buying physical retro games What is your opinion?

Now with everything being more expensive my retro game collecting has slowed down considerably.
I am less likely to buy something unless it’s something I don’t think I will find again. But games for modern systems I buy more frequently lately especially for the switch.

General / Re: What Are Your Top (Four) Consoles Right Now And Why?

My top four right now would be.

1.Xbox series X because it's my most used modern console. I'm on it almost every day.
2.PlayStation 5 I'll use this console a few days a month usually to play multiplayer with friends online.
3.Xbox Series S I use the Series S for emulation quite a bit I'm playing a lot of PlayStation 1 right now.
4.Switch is next I usually play this on the go or in bed.
These are always connected to my main modern tv.

If were talking about my favorite systems.

1.Super Nes connected to crt
2.Xbox 360 connected to modern tv
3.Dreamcast connected to crt
4.Ps2 connected to a PlayStation 3D tv
I have other consoles connected also but have many fond memories of playing these.

I've always have cared more about the opinions of other gamers and how they would rank or review a game rather than a opinion from a publication. Thought it might help someone try somthing they might not normally.
And the forums have seemed kind of stagnant lately so I figured why not?

El Shaddai (Xbox 360/Ps3)
Very cool and unique action game with a great art style a must play for me 9 out of 10

Hello everyone I thought having a page dedicated to game reviews or rankings of games you played might be helpful to others. I know some have left reviews on the 52 game challenge page but not everyone can game That much. So feel free to review or rank here. I am not the most articulate person so I will most likely just leave a ranking for said games. Others on this forum are fantastic writers so feel free to let your opions be known.

Callisto Protocol (Xbox Series X)
Mostly heard nothing but crap about this game but I liked it a lot it was like a water down version of Dead Space
But it was kind of refreshing not having a jump scare around every corner. Overall a good experience 8 out of 10 for me

Just Cause (Xbox 360)
Excelent game a little dated by today's standards but still holds up for me 9.5 out of 10 imo.

Ok last one for me today I'll do more another time if anyone cares.

Ace Combat 4 (Ps2)
This game is as perfect as it gets the control is spot on, good story and it even has a hidden aircraft in every level to unlock 10 out of 10 must play.

I use five diffrent CRT tvs in my game room to play my retro systems I use lots of different consoles and this way I don't have to swap out systems. It's better when friends and family are over we can have og xbox land parties or everyone play their favorite retro game without having to wait. All my mordern consoles are running on HD tvs so if your not in a reto mood I got it covered. As far as connectiions go I use composite or s video and HD when i can.

No not downsizing yet but I am starting to organize my extra copies and count the amount of games In each box. Been thinking about now might be a good time to stop being so lazy and sell them but first i have to figure out what I got.
