My copy of Deliver Us the Moon (PS4) was delayed a week. It won't arrive till well into April. That said, with the recent announcement that the PS5 update is coming in May and that LRG will have physical copies for $25... I may return my PS4 copy and just go with the PS5 version for physical.

My employers covid-bonus enabled me to boost my monthly game-budget a litte, so I paid my fav shop a visit:
Final Fantasy Legend III (GB)
Sword of Hope (GB)
Breath of Fire (GBA)
Spyro Adventure (GBA)
Sonic Advance 3 (GBA)
The Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past (SNES)

3 Games that I had on my wish-list were already bought away, so I'll have to wait for them to rearrive in the shelves. But all-in-all it was an enjoyable shopping-trip 8)

I went to another collectors swap meet over the weekend, this time mostly as a seller. I made about $1500 selling games I'm pretty sure I'll never play at this point, however I'd be remiss if I didn't pick up some awesome stuff too. I ended up adding some more expensive retro cardboard to my collection along with some other goodies.

Unexpected get... Horizon Forbidden West (PS5). I was waiting for a price drop and I ended up getting a copy as a thank you from my work. Looking forward to playing it.
-
Just bought a purple GameCube in really good condition.
My first time ever owning that console. Really stoked. Until I realised that was just one more system to collect for ;D
-
Best Buy's DotD is Cyberpunk 2077 for $5. The PS5 update went live a month ago, so I figured why not.

GameCube is probably my favorite Nintendo console. I got lucky to find the one I have. Its the orange Japanese console with a mod to allow it to play US releases.

I can do without a mod for now, but if it comes to that, I know where to go to get it modded :)

The cube is however ridiculously easy to play import games on it's more of a convenience thing I'd say.
Just get a cube freeloader for around 20$ to play games from all regions on the purple box.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon finally hit a PS5 price point that I liked, so I grabbed that.

it works lol I can assure you I've finished multiple imports with my cube freeloader. Never heard of people complaining about one not working. perhaps they got a freeloader for a different region.
you do however need a seperate memory card per region.

I've been going through pretty much all my stuff and getting rid of anything I no longer want before I move next month. A local used media store called 2nd and Charles (it's like Books a Million) got some CIB N64 games in recently and this was one of them that I really wanted. They were nice enough to put it on hold for me while I traded in a mountain of books, DVDs, and various cheap video games and got some store credit. I ended up being able to pay for this game with some of that store credit, which was nice since they wanted pretty much full ebay for this one.

Got Der Langrisser on SFC, which I've wanted to get for quite a long time. I'm just glad that there was at least one game I really wanted to get whose price wasn't skyrocketed into "I have better things to spend that much money on" levels.

Well... completely unexpected purchase. My wife bought the kids the Switch version of the Jumanji videogame.
Recall from the 90's to 00's when every movie got a game adaptation and it was insufferable and horrible at the same time. That kind of game still releases and it's embodied in the Jumanji game for the Switch. The gameplay is boring and repetitive having you collect 4 Jumanji artifacts in each level and shooting or punching bad guys. The graphics are bad having artifacts shimmer from the very start and being late PS2 quality. Still, the kids seem to enjoy it and it is up to 4 players.
Please send prayers.
