Given streams don't last as long as physical media, the quality is generally worse (Ex: Netflix vs. BD for the anime Expelled From Paradise), and the selection leaves much to be desired, no. Physical media has more value overall as you have more control, meanwhile a stream can go poof, many times without warning, or many things simply never get streamed. A large number of the anime in my DVD/BD collection can't be found on legal streaming sites, additionally many shows that are streaming have the TV version rather than the home video release with the animation corrections/no censors. I use streams to check out content, I buy the physical media for the stuff I care enough about, that's where any rewatches will come from.

I don't have problems with either. The only thing that bugs me with wireless though is if there's a proprietary battery (which is almost always the case if something supports rechargeables), meaning years down the line it'll be hard to replace. Just ask PSP owners how it is trying to get a good working battery, there are no good third-party options and the OEM ones are dying. People give crap for Microsoft still using AAs on their controllers, but they do at least give options. You can use it wired, you can use AAs (and rechargeable AAs have been around for a very, very long time), and you can use their own play and charge kit. I will say though they should be including the play and charge kits with the console and controllers, but they don't, it's an easy money grab.

No offline mode(s)=No buy, no exceptions.

The moment I hear a game is always-online, I instantly lose any interest I may have had. Need for Speed 2015 was always-online, and despite how much I love the NFS games (have almost every game from Hot Pursuit 2 to Payback), I will never buy it unless an offline patch is released (looking incredibly unlikely). When the servers for these games are shut off, you can't play them anymore, and every copy in the world becomes a coaster (Ex: MAG for the PS3). I'd rather not have a timer attached to my games, I still go back and play games that were made ages ago, and seek them out, that would not be possible to really do if they were always-online. I also don't really bother with online multiplayer much, there's only a very small handful of games I really played a lot online back on the PS3.

I've always wondered how I should add this sometime, I got this over the summer and both games are there physically. Dead or Alive 5+ (Vita) came out after Dead or Alive 5 (PS3).

Really wish there were more releases like this, was never a fan of how crossbuy worked in regards to physical copies, especially also with PS Vita memory cards being expensive.

Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus, getting that complete (the physical release was LE-only) is much more expensive than when I got it (I pre-ordered it). There's also the LE for Fate/Extra on the PSP which I got a month after that game came out. Some of my GBA games I got as a kid also possibly go for more these days as they're mostly complete, I'm just missing the cardboard insert that held the cartridge for most of them.

I see a decent number of copies on say eBay, but they're going for like $30+, even GameStop is charging that, though there's no guarantee you'll get a CIB copy because they toss the cases all the time to save space (a decision that will hurt them in the long-run). Amazon Marketplace, goes for $30+ as well, though so many sellers don't tell you in the description if you're getting just the disc or the game CIB. I really don't get why things are like this though, it even made it to the Platinum Hits line.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005) seems to be uncommon in CIB condition, which is strange given it's a launch title for the Xbox 360, and it's the best-selling NFS game by far (16 million), that's not for one system (it came out on a bunch), but still. Then again it's the best-looking version, even beating the PC version. It's something I need to grab before it starts going for like $50+.

You don't, if you don't mind wires you can get a wired Xbox 360 controller, or turn a wireless one into a wired one. You can just simply plug the play and charge kit cable into the controller with no batteries (make sure the AA pack is in the controller), and voila, it's now a wired controller. I've done it before, it works well.

People give Microsoft crap for requiring AA batteries, but it's better long-term, though it would be nice if they included the play and charge kit right out of the box. AA batteries aren't proprietary and can easily be replaced. Proprietary batteries are more of a pain to replace when they inevitably die/have little life left. I have to do this on my first two Game Boy Advance SPs, I get only 1 hour of battery life out of them now and have to take a chance on third-party batteries.

Also see: The pain PSP owners have had for years as the only good battery (the Sony one) is long discontinued-though the PSP can still be used with the AC adapter and no battery thankfully.

There is hate for the original Xbox? The original Xbox for me was my first console when I was a kid, and I still love it. Wish I could currently use mine (I do have an Xbox 360, so some games can still be played), but I have to reflow the Foxlink PSU as it now makes the crackling noise and is thus now a fire hazard. That's what the power cable recall was about over a decade ago, though the newer cable doesn't solve the issue and I no longer have that one.

Anyway, to bring up some other exclusives nobody brought up that I find to be good...

Then of course, again how it usually would offer the best experience on the multiplats. Get one of the two official component cables that also allows you to use optical audio (because Microsoft stupidly never put an optical audio port directly on the console-never happened until Xbox 360 S (E doesn't have it) and Xbox One), and man, the experience you can get with that thing.
